I Just purchased some tumeric oil. It has a strong stinky smell. Is that normal? Also what essential pil could I use to cover the smell safely? I'm wanting to make some of this in hopes it will help my daughter's eczema issues.

Check to know if the oil is expired. Lavender essential oil is perfect.

The expiration date is good. I guess the smell is just very overwhelming to me. I'm not a fan of this smell at all but I will add another essential oil to help cover the smell.

Thank you. I made some but I only made 6 oz. I also only used 1ml of the tumeric oil because I just cannot handle the smell. I used calendula with this recipe as well as a strawberriesand creme essential oils. I still am trying to figure out how you use so much tuneric it smells good?

Hand mixer but make sure it’s down in the mixture because it will create air bubbles. Hope this helps
