This is so cool! I'm pretty new to UI art and honestly I didn't know what tools are these artists using to create those beautiful interfaces. I imagine besides Figma, maybe Photoshop and.. illustrator? Not sure how it would fit in or just be replaced tbh.

Photoshop, Figma and Illustrator are ones I’ve used personally. We are definitely in a figma to engine pipeline now.

Great video! I wonder how that works with different screen resolutions? Do you make a separate asset for 1080p and 4k screens for example? Also your mic audio is super low.

Thank you I realized it was quite low, Ill need to fix my audio up a bit next time! - You should handle every image uniquely to its circumstance. For example in Zelda you can take photos and those images will render as 4K, they will take up about 70% of the screen as well (I assume from the last time I played it). I would treat those images special and export them in 4K resolution. But for a small character badge, or a settings button that is a cog (wheel) I would export those just large enough where they look crisp but not perfect on every screen size. ✌ I hope that was helpful!

There is a plugin called psd to UMG ,if you can convert a figma layer to psd and the import directly to unreal , everything is imported , all the layers are retained.
