After some testing, my friend @HoodlumCallum had some great success using this strategy with a Flutter Mane instead: Moonblast - 252 Defense EV / 252 SpAttack EV Using choice specs increases ur chances but you can run Amulet Coin if you’re feeling risky! Also I understand that you can just duplicate items in order to make money, this is a more automated way of doing things and also not every player feels comfortable with abusing glitches as Pokémon themselves have banned for far less. I like to keep my main save files clean and legit and i’m sure other people do, please respect that!

Adamant Salamance, 252 attk, 252 speed, moxie, with Fly and amulet coin. The type advantage against Tauros makes needing the clear amulet not necessarily. Fly has no full immunities and the least amount of quad resistances. The biggest issue you run into is against Ms. Tyme's team, but that's why we are using Fly instead of aerial ace.

If anyone wants a truly consistent option, I found that a level 100 Iron Valiant running Choice Specs spamming Moonblast with 252 EV's in both HP and Spe Atk (hyper trained as well) can guarantee you don't lose. Poison isn't an issue because the Pokemon that can are usually one of the last three pokemon to come out, meaning it doesn't have enough time to kill, and Baby-Doll Eyes doesn't affect it. Unfortunately, Iron Valiant needs to run Choice Specs due to Penny's Sylveon, as it needs the item to be able to one shot. If running the Amulet or Booster Energy, her Sylveon will be able to take one hit if it is not a crit, and it can kill if she crits instead. There are other pokemon that can take a hit, but none of them can kill in one shot like Sylveon. The lack of Amulet Coin is unfortunate, but I have tested this for days now and Iron Valiant clears it with no problem consistently. So, if you're looking for a way to clear without a chance of losing, this is a good solution. I am pretty confident this works 100% of the time, but, if anyone tries it and does lose, please tell me. I will edit this to say so.

I KNOW THE PERFECT POKÉMON! I’ve got it guys, it’s dragapult, here’s my reasoning. It’s ability clear body cancels any stat decreases so you don’t have to worry about attack drops and not killing, it has a 142 base speed and a 120 base attack so it is out speeding and reliably killing everything at level 100, now you might think im wrong here because dragon, psychic, ghost, normal, all it’s main move types have a type it doesn’t effect, but bug doesn’t, it gets u turn which is 70 power and bug hits everything, and because you have to do this with only one Pokémon you won’t even switch so it’s the perfect move! And to top it off you don’t need an item so there’s you’re amulet coin! Dragapult, with the amulet coin, using u-turn, no potential contingencies to plan for because no problems can even potentially happen while you’re afk, easy money! Been trying a few different builds for this strat to keep on amulet coin, and I got so frustratingly close with moxie Honchkrow 252 atk, 252 def, 4hp using Drill Peck. Only thing that seemed to be a loss from quite a few runs was Pachirisu can survive with a sliver of health sometimes and then paralyzes with nuzzle and it's basically a guaranteed loss after that. I also tried super luck with night slash and it is very consistent but Dendra is capable of winning if she hits all her close combats and Hariyama hits his stone edge and at least one of them is a crit, if none of them crit I would survive with around 30 hp. Also you need max friendship to guarantee the crit, and it also helps with making the opponent miss sometimes. I had very little luck with moxie Salamence that people are suggesting, lost two runs in a row with that. 252 spatk, 252 def, 4 hp Flutter Mane just smashing moonblast with an amulet coin and zero strategy is funny enough almost guaranteed too, but I've lost a run to being toxic'd by Jacq's Swalot early, and I think Scizor can kill you if it gets a lucky two in a row bullet punch crit, also Penny has a chance if her Flareon both crits and burns with flare blitz.

All of the Pokemon for each stat are plentiful in Poco Path/Inlet Grotto, and it takes only 28 encounters to max out a stat for your entire team. Ex. I was doing this for HP EV training, and knocked out 28 lechonk in about 8 minutes. This trained all 6 of my mons in HP, which would've cost 1.5 mil in HP Up vitamins

Everything I can think has already been mentioned, but comments are good for the youtube algorithm, sooooooo... If you use a special attacker, you won't have to worry about intimidate, so you can use the amulet coin. The challenge then becomes finding a special attacker with either enough bulk to take hits or one fast enough to OHKO regardless of what move is used. Espeon or Gengar might have enough power and speed for the OHKOs and maybe something like Hydreigon (assuming there aren't any Fairy types in the tournament) or Magnazone might have enough bulk to make it work.

The good thing about grinding money in this game is that, past the initial money sink to make a couple of Raid-viable Pokémon, the sheer amount of resources you get from 5-Star Raids can "pay off" the next Pokémon and make the process a lot easier. Your best bets are the box Legendaries to start.

It's a nice enough money making method, but if people want the money for EV increasing items, you're far better off buying all the bracelets from a store, equipping the appropriate stat bracelet to each team member, then go battle low level pokemon that also give the correct EV type (or the wrong EV type that you happen to have an abundance of berries for) and you can have an ENTIRE TEAM fully EV trained in about 30 minutes.

Ok I know I've commented a bunch, but I think I just found yet another actually really viable if not perfect mon for this strat. Flamigo.... Even if Hassels Noivern were to have a Speed boosting Nature (i think the tournament mons are neutral Natures though, as far as I can tell) you would still outspeed it with 0 speed investment, so you get to outspeed everything. It's ability Scrappy cancels out intimidates and enables you to hit ghost types, which grants you the ability to use Close Combat, just also slap a Choice band on and most monst falls over like a wet noodle. As far as I can tell the only mon that can "potentially" be dangerous is Jacq's Slowbro, which you can work around. It does quad resist CC, but that shouldn't be a big problem, since you still 2-Shot it, with a slight chance to even 1-hit ko it. Just put your 252 EVs you saved by not specing into speed into SP-Def and you can tank a Psychic even at -4 SP-Def. (his Farigiraff is a guaranteed 1-hit, so it doesn't matter that it's a psychic terra type). NPCs tend to send out mons with type advantages after a defeat, so no matter what Jacq does you should always be in a range to survive a hit, since he either sends out Swalot or Slowbro right after his Arcanine (Swalot is also a 1-hit ko). I'll make a Flamigo today and let it run the entire night right when I get home and report back / edit if this doesn't work. So my recommended Set would be: Flamigo @ Choice Band Ability: Scrappy EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 SpD Adamant Nature - Close Combat

I‘d advise people to boost EVs with defeating Pokemon in the first area (there are Pokemon for each EV and you can buy the Power items for 8 additional EVs per defeated Pokemon very early for 10k each) This way you‘ll save time and money, since you‘ll be able to EV train 6 pokemon at once and it takes maybe 10-15 minutes to max out one stat for all 6 pokemon. No money spent ^^ Because its an early area the wild pokemon are gonna be at level 10 max, so it should be quite easy to oneshot them.

Yo this is my first pokemon game really training evs and ivs because of the quality of life changes but do you know if overworld fighting works for everyone or does it have to be in battle and secondly how many evs can go into each stat with a brace/belt on
@KingOfTh3OzOne2 жыл бұрын
@@johndymond8703 quick battling does not effect evs. Any pokemon in your party will gain evs upon killing or catching a pokemon any other way. You can use the ev berries; tomato,qualot,kelpsy etc to remove stats. Like vitamins it takes 26 to completely remove a maxed out stat. Feathers can be used to boost stats but they're slower than vitamins. The best way to ev train is still manual. For example: Go to mesagoza eat a sandwich for encounter type electric out of the sandwich shop there, go out the east door, kill shinx. If you're holding a power bracer on a pokemon you want to train it takes 28 shinx and the area is flooded with them.

@pega75502 жыл бұрын
@@johndymond8703 as far as I know the overworld battle (without engaging) doesn't enhance your EVs, you have to go into the battle. With the power item you'd get at minimum 9 EVs (8 from the power item you give your pokemon to hold and wild pokemon can give 1-3 EVs I believe, the ones in the starter zone all give 1) So to max a stat you'd need to defeat 28 wild pokemon with a power item on each pokemon you want to get the stat. It's still the same amount of EVs that can go into each stat, but you'll just get more per defeated pokemon if you equip the item. It's also worth knowing that you can only max out 2 stats at most with perfect trained EVs

I just got a $20 controller on Amazon and the turbo works perfectly to farm the Ace tournament. I use the same flutter mane I built for soloing charizard raids. Modest, EVs in SpAtk and HP, fully bottlecapped, holding amulet coin, spamming moonblast. Most opponents go down with 1 hit, the others go down with 2, but they don't do enough damage to take it down. Haven't experienced any crits bad enough to catch a loss either, but i guess one really bad rng attack could do it. This is definitely the best money farming method tho

I tried this and lost twice to dendra as she could get off 2 close combats on my krokodile plus an aqua jet before moxie got going. But then I remembered I had a programable button on my turbo controller that is capable of turbo as well, and simply record pressing R then A. R will only activate terastal while on move selection (if still available), and reset the camera behind the player on the school hall. Having this combination on turbo, my krookodile could "defensively" turn into a ground type, and dendra changed her strategy, only bringing water tauros later in the fight, giving me enough moxie boosts to just OHKO it, while also not being weak to close combats from the start of the battle. The battles got a little longer as the terastal has to happen every starting battle, but it is worth it as this prevents the game from breaking the battle cycle while I'm AFK.

As otherwise clavel will have a effect spore ammongus which is 3.33% chance when hit to tirgger effect spore with sleep which will either instantly kill you if you picked the fire starter as terra water attack from quaquaval is potentially fatal if you get 2 turn sleep, your probably fine if you have grass starter as fire croc is unlikely to be able to kill you unless you get 3 turn sleep and even then probably unlikely.
