you are one of the more brilliant tutorial video creators. Your pace is perfect. You cut right to the chase. You use stock ableton plugins. It sounds amazing. It's edited very well. Entertaining. What else.... Keep making more.

Brilliant runthrough. Anything from Shlohmo (the Heaven Inc/The End era especially) would be lovely to hear your take on; I believe he uses stock ableton almost exclusively as well, with a couple outboard tools (moog grandmother, fender jazzmaster). Keep up the great work!

Amazing videos! I’ve watched every tutorial you’ve uploaded so far. Came here looking for a specific style tutorial and discovered many new artists and sounds along the way. I especially like when you do short remakes of 2-3 actual tracks, but then you make one of your own using the showcased style as an inspiration. Also, they sound amazing!

Aaaah here's my favorite teacher once again, glad to have you back Gavin. Here's some recommendations on what to do next (pretty sure you're full of them but anyway): How to make music like Tycho, Christian Loffler, Weval, 2814, Skeler, Sewerslut, Roosevelt, Vacant, Monolithic, Computer Data, Miami Nights 1984, Duett, 36, Brian Eno, Aphex Twin ambient, Gesaffelstein (for the masses). Also, do you plan to sell the project templates in the future as well?

I actually missed a trick with the increasing distortion of that track. Instead of turning th drive up in the saturator, better tip would be to turn up the input and then dial back the output on the echo, cus you get nice and controlled tape distortion, which sounds alot less digital than stock saturator!
@julioagueros Жыл бұрын
whoa.. need to try that out :)))

Love your tutorials. Your super talented. Would love if you could maybe help me find out, how a sound was made? I've been wondering for years how the synth stab from Landlord - I Like It (blow out dub) was put together. I'd say a man of your knowledge and "God" like wisdom would be able to guide us mere mortals in the right direction regarding this. Thanks as always for your time and help.

These are great!. You're choosing really interesting artists to showcase and the results are spot on. However if you were able to show more and talk a bit more about what your doing as I feel like your brushing past things really quickly and some things your mentioning you've done but haven't showed at all. Overall great channel though
