ACTUAL RECIPE
-stand mixer with whisk attachment (you could do it with a hand mixer with whisk attachments but let’s be real)
-spatula
-piping bag
-macaron mat and baking pan (you can also use parchment paper BUT LETS BE REAL)
-food coloring
-sprinkles
preheat oven to 300 F
sift 1/3 cup almond flour (you can also get a bunch of almonds and stick them in a blender to make almond flour but seriously) and 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp + 1 tsp powdered sugar
crack an egg. you only need the whites cause the music industry is all white anyway. then beat it until soft peaks form
add 2 1/2 tbsp granulated sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks form
add food coloring
add almond flour/sugar mixture into meringue
mix until it reaches that “lava consistency” but what does that even mean i’ve never seen lava in real life
pour mixture into piping bag
pipe macarons onto mat
add sprinkles
beat sheet onto hard surface
allow shells to dry; batter should not be on ur finger if u touch
place in oven for 12 minutes
