the final product is very noisy, like, everything is playing at the same time with the same intensity and I don't know which melody I should pay more attention to, despite that, you are very good at explaining your process ^^ Keep it up! you are very underrated and you need more people to be interested and help you with your music

Thank you for making this video!!! As a classically trained musician myself who's been around other classical musicians for a long time; anybody who gatekeeps music-writing for only people who know extensive theory isn't worth listening to. The track you made for this video was really cool and doing some really harmonically complex things that sounded rad! It's really cool to see your creative process laid out like this, I would love to see an even longer, more in-depth video if that's the kind of thing you want to make. Great vid, instant sub! Looking forward to see what else you make!
@orithekidd2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I feel that when I was started out I "had" to know music theory and terms or i was "doing it right" but i think ultimately music should be something fun and enjoyable. It's always nice when classically trained musicians hear my pieces but it helps me gain more insight!
@ImIzar Жыл бұрын
It took me a lot of time to figure out music but I really recommend looking out the basics of music theory. Before entering an unknow terrain I suggest you experiment with music gendres you like and listen a lot!. With that you can hear what its bad in the song because you have heard a lot of song in the same genre. I think you have the right idea but you got kinda exited in doing a full product in one go. Music takes a *lot* of time to figure it out. I suggest to do the gendre your thing and doing small songs with not too mutch instruments, 2 to 3 max. With time you will make those small songs faster and they will sound a lot better, then you will add more instruments when you feel conftable and eventually you will do a full song with a lot of instruments without even realizing!. if you have more questions about music I would be happy to help, I started in music to make my own music for games and I have experience in making music for games(I never finished one but I have had a lot of fun doing them)

Hey, thanks for the extremely detailed comment. When posting this video originally I had NO clue it would get as big as it did and I agree with a lot of the points people were making in the comments. The goal was less of a tutorial and more to show my chaotic personal process to making music. That being said, I've applied a lot of the advice I've gotten from this community and some of my newer track kinda go hard (lol). I still have a lot to learn and the process of making music is always a long one. Thank you for the kind critique and hopefully I can bring some banger tunes (and a music update) to this channel soon!

Honestly, great video! But the final product seems a bit off? I'm sure you did try and will do better, but this oke feels a bit busy with the sounds all together, and a vit dissonant/chromatic sometimes. The drums still ended up being a bit too strong and couldn't focus much on the track (Tho that last section was really cool with the choirs!) Overall a bit more space with frequencies, mixing and panning and it can turn very good Keep it up! Good luck on your next projects :)
