It feels even weirder now that a new Nintendo switch with abunch of upgrades is coming out soon. I was just recently looking back at Labo today and just realized how much nintendo could do with just the original switch and cardboard. You can change the Tilt Nodon settings to "Angle of rotation" to save on those Maps! (though, the angles you can turn would then become unlimited lol) I think you can also save on the Object and Location Sensor by connecting the Camera Position and Target to the Person directly, and then setting the Person's turning speed to 0. 😀

And by setting the connection points in the camera nodons to Y-, Y+ you can raise the view up a bit. 😃

It's not quite vr. All it is, is a screen at your face instead of actually having that depth perception that VR gives that makes it so good. But the that's still impressive and surprised me with the head movement. Love your videos and love to see what you make next!

If Nintendo switch to actually does have some VR games with a VR headset case that’s not made using Labo then there will be some titles and even more recognizable game titles that could be meant for the VR case only. For example, if Metroid prime has its first VR game will be called Metroid prime visions

Hey Dave I need your help, so I’m making this game and I made a 3d custom character to replace the default one, and its animation uses hinges which needs a counter to work and it’s being weird, but anyways I’m basically asking: you know how the button press nodon has the option to make it on press? Well I wondered if there was a way to make that same sort of thing but with a joystick , so like it would be on press but with moving the joystick, any ideas? (I’m probably just stupid lol but I can not figure this out😂)

Hey, your template has a problem, VR games have a system so that each eye sees the same thing so that the rendering is correct, and having tested it with the Nintendo VR lab, it hurts the eyes, I don't believe not that it can be corrected due to the basic nodon not intended for VR

@DaveNodon the only problem with this idea is the fact that most VR headsets show one image per eye but this gbg project doesn't display two images one for each eye it shows one image for both eyes so when you use a labo headset this might look kind of funky maybe a fix for this in the future :D?

Splitting the view is impossible on GBG but you could take out the part that holds the lenses independently! It’s funny, labo runs on earlier software that became GBG so they could’ve just left the true VR Dual lenses feature if they wanted to

The head can’t be connected since the “head” always follows the cameras origin point. It’s a little tricky to wrap your head around at first. Wherever the camera is, that’s where the head goes.

I'm making a test for one in my side scroller shooter bait and switch game Football Fun right now. It starts with a fixed screen shooting down drones from an aircraft whilst you are on a penthouse roof, then when all the drones are defeated the aircraft gets closer and lands on the roof, the screen shifts to side scroller as you enter the penthouse interior, and the aircraft shoots through the domed window on the roof and a round window on the wall, where you use flipped tables for cover and use your lasergun wristband to fight it, then in the final act you must jump from the roof and the game switches to make it look like falling with a view of your back, and you try to land in the vehicle plummeting to the streets below on time to shut it down.

To buy the steering wheel, buy the Nintendo labo toy-con kit 03. and you Made it yourself. You just get only the cardboard and you must create it. Instructions is in Nintendo labo cartridge game included on all toy-con kit. And to make a game using Nintendo labo game, Use the Labo Garage mode.
