First !! Atm warriors just complete their WW quest level ~32 and run to Scarlet Monastery. They loot Herod and get the Ravager and a powerful mail set. They do melee cleave to lvl 48 and go tank for maraudon to get their first pre-bis (the ring). At this moment, they just dual spec fury or tank to go dungeon till 60. The leveling from the start to 0 - 30 is ok as long as you hit green mobs.

..that's because you ain't doing it right. I'll be creating the" ultimate leveling guide " for every class. Teach the people. What you need to do as a warrior is grind for your vendor leather and upgraded weapons. First things first.. getting the silver 🥈 for the initial start is crucial for 5 reasons.

Mining and engineering are also worth doing while leveling. The ability to use an explosive in a pinch means the difference between life and death sometimes.

The way to level is to make a healer friend early and duo the entire journey to 60. You'll never have any downtime and you just have to fill the dps spots when doing dungeons, so you won't waste time waiting around either. Alternatively, if you are dual boxing with a sub-account or second account, then use a healer on the other account, make some follow and assist macros and maybe macros to heal the warrior and you're good to go. The priest can wand for extra dps without hitting more than one key. In general, the slowest bit will be looting when you need to grab a quest item rather than having the main (warrior) looting with the group set to free for all.

Currently level 45 on my warrior, and I agree. Warrior *can* be slow, but as soon as you hit 30 and can spam SM and get a melee cleave group going with wf, and then do ZF, getting to 50 is very quick. I've levelled 30 hunters to max over the years, and warrior (whilst slower) is far more fun imo. I'd say 1-30 is the most difficult part of levelling a warrior, and even then its not exactly hard. It's probably the most financially taxing class to level first as its very gear dependant, but grinding dungeons and then spending some time on the AH/grinding profs you can still get your mount at 40 or close to 40. I managed to get mine at 41 this time around with around 40g left over. that gold left over I've used to level engineering & get consumes which again will make levelling easier.

The best team is a warrior with a Sub Rogue with ambush. That team wipes out mobs like butter. The Warrior charges and pulls. the Rogue one shots them. By the time the rogue gets to the mob in stealth, the mob is down in heath 20-25% then just wacks it. Done next. With backstab and ambush they can kill about anything as long as the warrior pulls.

I don't know I don't think warrior is annoying to level. Maybe cause I don't enjoy any other class anywhere near as much as warrior. I use 2 handed weapons and duel wield as well I think both work just as well. Blacksmithing has been so enjoyable this time around since SOD being split into phases has shown me the valued of the crafted items are. I like finding a good group of green or yellow mobs to grind esp Murlocs for the chance to get pearls from the clams they drop. Currently level 31 right now and taking my sweet time to enjoy the leveling. Got a pally at 14 and Hunter at 12 as well. Good video as always. :)

I’m not good at hardcore so my advice to others that aren’t experts and plan on playing warrior is as follows: The highest I made it was 51… on a warrior. Although the least forgiving hardcore class it keeps you from taking chances and letting your guard down so you limit those oh shit moments. The downside is at some point you will have those moments like mobs spawning on you or something similar like hyper spawns and you have very little options to escape. I would say engineering makes the most sense although I went alc. That target dummy might have saved me and you can always buy and collect pots. I have to add if you play warrior expect to die because I do think that class has the worst arsenal of escape abilities, but if you make it to 60 that is a gaming moment you should be proud of, possibly would be my greatest gaming moment. After I died I quit but I’ll be back once I get over it, maybe in January to try one more time.

There is one huge detail when talking about restedXP - the fresh servers are FULL, and following RXP is often impossible because of mobtagging and competition. Dungeon grinding is the fastest way to level.

I just got my hunter to 18. And just scour the lowbie levels as my warr. Im level 14 on my warrior and just now killed Hogger. I just bounce around the starting areas doing the green quests.

Especially on hardcore, leveling a warrior without a cash stack is just pain, having money for consistent 1-60 greens and the occasional blue weapon (WW axe upgrade especially) is very helpful

Early plate gear is usually not actually as good as metagoblin makes it seem. Look at the actual armor (and damage reduction it would give) before you slap it on, because "lol pl8 best". On aniversary, i experienced a lvl 40 plate of the bear bracers dropping in cathedral, and the armor on it was only 10% more than the lvl 33 mail ones i already had, and the stats were worse to boot. not at all worth it.

Anyone specing into prot for leveling is doing it wrong. You don’t need any points in prot to tank as you are leveling. And even as max level if you are specing deep into prot you are still doing it wrong.

Fresh is the first time playing classic for me. I’m leveling as a tank. It is SO MUCH fun. But not the gameplay. It’s the environment and the players. Seeing in chat, people asking for help, shit talking and arguing is amazing. Just SEEING other players is great too. I’m starting to recognize names and faces in the game again. Even seeing the world as it was when I started playing is amazing. Places and towns that were “updated” are just as I remember them. Even the way I play has to be done in the old ways. Pull more than two mobs and, even as a tank, I need to start to find a way out. And things chase you for a long way. I’m not pulling entire areas and yawning like my tank does in retail. And I couldn’t be happier. And the best part is that what my character is doing today is the daily content. The stuff I’m doing at level 8 is the most important thing my character could be doing at that moment. The game starts when I log in not when I hit level cap. Someone once said we think we want vanilla but we don’t. Some chalked that up to him being lazy. But now that I play it, I think vanilla exposes where retail has lost the plot.

Expand your horizons... being a good tank is one of the best things to do as a warrior 1. Tanks are always in demand, easy to get groups on your schedule.... at least easier than others. 2. Keeps gear up to date without spending $ on the AH 3. It's fun, just remember YOU are the tank and are setting the pace. Don't put up with Ahole DPS. You can get replacement dps at the drop of a hat

learn how to que and cancel heroic strike and start playing DW. Warrior feels awful because everyone follows the same shit advice. "get the slowest 2h you can" then when you have 2 misses, a miss and a dodge, a dodge and a parry etc etc, you go 8 seconds with doing zero damage. With HS queuing giving your offhand the special table hit chance it is almost statistically impossible for you to go that time without damaging the mob. Before you say but i was told never to use HS as it will rage starve me, go and research what HS queing is as you obviously don't know. This comment is not aimed at the creator of this video it is aimed at all of you that blindly follow 2004 guide remakes blindly follow them.

everyone follows the same "level arms" guides over and over and complain about the leveling. I am an altaholic, I have leveled many warriors in era. Unless you are dungeon spamming Fury destroys arms for grinding and questing. leveled 1-60 both ways. Enrage and flurry give you between a 25% to 55% damage increase on pretty much every mob. Arms gives you SS on 2 mobs every two min and you will have to sit and eat after every use. The best thing is this comment will get a bunch of posts about how such and such streamer said arms is better.
