Thank you so much! I'm visually impaired, but have enough vision to make my soap. Shaping the soap with your hands it's mazing! Never thought of it because alot of people use spoons or sticks to design the soaps. You made it so much better for me, thank you so much! 🤗 #RP Strong 😁

Maria! Oh MY! You have just completely blown my mind! I have been searching for ages for a way to replicate a CP swirl in M&P and in my search I ran across this video - within SECONDS I had abandoned my obsession with trying to swirl and had tons of ideas for this wavy technique! I have honestly never seen this before, so as I said, MIND BLOWN! I am so very excited to try this out in billions of combinations, I can't imagine ANY combo NOT turning out GORGEOUS! I had the luck o' the Irish on my side today when I found this! AMAZING! I'll definitely be checking out all your other stuff too - your presentational style is so thorough, yet SIMPLE, which is a rare combination to find! Thank you for explaining things that are easy enough for people who have never done this before to understand, yet seem like they are also quite helpful to a seasoned soaper - I can't say enough!

Wow that's beautiful. Hello my name is Deb and I am new to this open community. I'm working with melt and pour trying to get my style down. I'm finding that all of the research that I've already done on cold process, is what I really want to do using in beds of the Melt and pour in the soap. That seems to be where my interest has peaked at. Anyway thank you for putting on a great video, and I hope to be able to learn from you as well as the other soapers in the KZbin Community. Have a blessed day take care Deb

Wow! Beautiful.... It would be helpful if you mention the temperature when you pour the soap
@DesertCloudSoapworksАй бұрын
You have to eyeball it. Melt and pour can harden quickly, and I don't take temp measurements when working with it. Only when it's cold process soap.

so, I've made layered soap before....your's looks awesome,btw!! but when ya go to use it, after a few times, it starts separating. How do you prevent that from happening?
@PowderyloveASMR4 жыл бұрын
The alcohol in between the layers adhere them to each other...use 91 or 99% isopropyl alcohol and spritz generously
@DesertCloudSoapworksАй бұрын
90% or higher alcohol between the layers, and make sure to add each layer before the tops get too hard.

Hello! Thank you for sharing this wonder with us. I have a question, sinking the base with the knuckle and when throwing the other layer, it makes that when dry, the layers do not come off ?. Because it has happened to me to do in layers and then already dry it is very easy to disassemble the soap, I do not know if I explain myself. Thank you! Greetings from Uruguay.
@DesertCloudSoapworks5 жыл бұрын
Not when dry, when soft and pliable. Spray rubbing alcohol between each layer.

So I made my own soap this past weekend and they turned out beautiful but the natural smell of the soap is more over powering than the fragrance oil. Is there a way to smell more of the fragrance oil then the soap smell? Sure Maybe change soaps? I used honey soap and shea butter soap.
@DesertCloudSoapworks3 жыл бұрын
That could be a lot of things. Your oils used, fragrance is too weak or you didn't use enough. Shea has a strong odor no matter what.

Are you using a liquid dyr? Cause if you do, it will bleed into the white part of the soap. If you use the mica based dye, it wont bleed. And...why can't you tell us what are the names of the color dye???? Where do you buy them?
@DesertCloudSoapworks5 жыл бұрын
I am using a non-bleed soap base to be used with liquid dyes. The dyes are from hobby lobby.

Hi again, I am finding that my customers here do not like the wide bars - 3 - 3 1/2 inches. I really want to get some of the silicone tall and skinny molds but out of my budget for now. Something to aspire to eh...
@kathymccue12296 жыл бұрын
Sorry the colour that you have added the blue just wondered if it's only the clear you can add colour to not made any soap before so trying to find out things before I start thanks
@DesertCloudSoapworks6 жыл бұрын
You can add color and fragrance to every layer. I just chose to keep the white as white for this bar.
