Thank you so much for the great instruction on Swirling M & P.. I took mine out of the mold yesterday and was afraid to cut it because when I was pouring the colors over the cardboard I had to stop and remelt and when I poured again and lifted the cardboard out I had some clump on it.. Soap was starting to harden.. But low and behold when I cut it I was pleasantly surprised I really love it... I can' t thank you enough your a great teacher.

I would like to try this technique you said slant the cardboard and I noticed as you continued pouring you slowly moved the cardboard to the back of the mold then at the very back you start to pour and move the cardboard up and continue the pour? Please let me know if I'm going in the right direction 🙏🏽

Hi thank you very much for sharing this technique. The MP soap came out lovely. I've seen this in CP but I wasn't sure if it would translate well with MP. May I ask if you have tried this with multiple types of MP soap and if it works well or not with different ones? I know sometimes people have harder times with ones with milk in them for certain things or certain formulations are different enough in a variety of ways. I know Stephenson has a swirling soap base for MP but ive not tried it yet even though i have it. Again this is just lovely and so beautiful. I really enjoying learning new techniques so I can try to apply them in my own way to my soaps. Thank you thank you thank you.

I love people into the melt & pour soaps! I started watching these soap making videos a few months ago. Was watching animal rescue videos and when the next in cue came up, it was a soap making one! I am slowly getting my supplies at stores. Got a bunch of those plastic measuring cups, spatulas, and candy thermometer! I decided to start with the melt & pour as the cold & hot processing seems like too much chemistry! One of these days I want to make my own soap!

hi. enjoyed your video. you sound like a real nice person. i love soaping and bath body creations as well and have been thinking about doing this art form as a small, small sideline. i am curious and was wondering if keeping small batches of the colored soaps in seperate glass jars in a crockpot would be safe while working the swirl technique? you know , keeping the soaps from having to continually re heat? thank you have a great day fellow soap friend

Hi, I was accidentally on my bf account when I commented the first time lol. (Mike corona ).. anyway. I have a question , do you put the card board all the way to the floor of the mold? Or do you leave a little space so the soap can flow to the other side? I am so trying this tomorrow! Thanks again for showing us!
