They dislike it because you don't need to have anything to be a good craftsman, you just need to have a little quality in your work. India, like China, produces incredibly substandard products, they are very bad at making things yet their pride is so high they think this garbage is worth showing off. Look at 1800's and 1900's European metal work. India is in 2021 yet they are living in the 1200's by the worlds standards, and not for any other reason besides lack of trying / caring.

My expectations were low when I saw the video title, and dropped even lower when the video started playing. But I must say, with the addition of a proper electrical plug and a safer way to switch between power settings, I would gladly use this instead of the small welder I already have. When I was in trade school for welding my instructor had gone over to the Middle East to help assess the skill level of the welders over there (this was back in the 90’s) he said they were mostly working on the ground so he was like what the fuck......he built a table and the hopped up on the table to do their coupons he said it was super bizarre! But he also saw a lot of potential for them to become amazing welders!!

There's no thermal protection in the event of an overload. In the event of an overload or continued high duty cycle usage the coils will heat too much and short rendering the welder completely useless.
