String instead of zip-ties, cloth strips instead of electrical tape and shrink-wrap, cardboard and paper instead of of fiberglass insulators, and everything measured and cut by eye. I've seen others Build this type of Welder, but your Build was Clean and non messy. The other Welding Machine Builders were very messy and their Welding Machines didn't look no where as Clean and Nice as your Build came out. Kudo's to a very good Job. Thanks for the upload. By the way, how much does your Welding Machine Cost? Also, have you ever considered adding a High Frequency unit to these Welders so you could Weld Aluminum? Just a thought.

Nice content! Inspiring to see, how to build this. You could improve the value, by building in some core informations. For example I'd love to know, what kind of materials they use. Is the wire made of copper? What kind of metal plates are this? Is the black fluid tar? do the measurements have important influence? What is used for seperating the wire, is it tetra pak?
@привет-к5ч
@привет-к5ч 3 жыл бұрын
The product for sale is bad, both for home welding and for production. The material for the welding transformer winding is aluminum ( worse than copper in terms of current conductivity and heat resistance). The insulation of the wire winding is packaging cardboard ( it will not withstand 180 degrees of heating and moisture during the temperature drop). The transformer iron of the transformer is poorly insulated between the sheets - which will lead to heating and loss of efficiency. The varnish of the insulation coating-bituminous resin - in this version is fire-hazardous. All these errors will definitely lead to electric injuries!!!
@tryduck6993
@tryduck6993 3 жыл бұрын
@@привет-к5ч I think you forgot they can neither confirm or deny the product was also made with lead based paint. If you watched they you already saw what product wire was made of . The only copper in that was the wire he bolted to the input side and even that wire is clad. It is basic and when welders were first designed without all the improvements to address all known issues and short comings of welders after years of problems.It works in their country and this is how it began in US for our welder makers.Trial and error to make the top notch safe welders we have here today in US with kinks worked out. They could improve too but thats cost and they decided cheap/dangerous is profitable to them where human life and safety do not fit into their ways.

I would not be surprised if he made the core from plain steel. This transformer will as a consequence heat up (and buzz) significantly during use. During extensive use I would not even be surprised it would catch fire since he uses paper as insulating material… He should have used silicon steel for the core instead.

Nice going, but pls note: Plastic insulated wire is a no-no in a transformer. Subtract 20% from the power and cut life to 6 months. Random iron sheets have poor magnetic performance, subtract 66% more. Cotton gauze insulation hasn’t been used fo5 80 years. Cut life by 50%. Tar covering is mostly useless. It is going to melt away. Real transformers are vacuum dipped in proper varnish. No switch, fuse, circuit breaker, thermal cutout, ground, ventilation, or fan, that suggests interesting times for the end user. Maybe sell it with a bucket of sand and a bucket of water.
