How do you stop the bracelet from becoming bent out of shape when wearing ????. Is it possible to purchase 16g wire, similar in strength to memory wire, so that it will not bend out of shape ?? Cant find it in Australia !!

Hello Lindy! Using a steel wire (such as memory wire) in that heavy of a gauge would be difficult since it is so hard to bend (even at smaller gauges!). You could try making this bracelet in a 14ga (slightly thicker) wire, but would need to be sure whatever beads you use will fit onto the wire. With either gauge, 16 or 14, you can try simply work hardening it once you have it in its final shape. Do this by running a polishing cloth over it multiple times with firm pressure, checking it periodically as it becomes stiffer. Here is a little more information on work hardening wire: jewelrytutorialhq.com/work-harden-jewelry-wire/ Best wishes, and thank you for watching our tutorial!

The loop is pinched down to close it. This part of the bracelet is demonstrated at about 1:40 in the video.
