Im still waiting for rc modules to arrive from china since the rest i already had, but i have already modelled a complete functioning hand in Inventor and 3d printed a few parts to test.

Not much harder, although i'd personally use some different kind of sensor for this part, probably 3d print an exoskelet, and use potentiometers or something similar for measurements.

You need to know java at least with any your choice database which I recommend that free mysql , depend what your plan with database ? your question is clear. If you want to store your pre-programmed run a java code and read from db then send to roboarm.. I'm a programmer and can help you.
