Atom Bomb in your intro?! Dude nice. It's about time for a Big Beat revival
@yotaiji012 Жыл бұрын
You nailed it. I always felt like bigbeat was the drum sound. More like a Rock Drum set in tone the bass is a bit more kicky but not too much.

that song is great! Big beat is such a cool genre that I wish could outlive its meme status.

Something i learned is Bigbeat never really died in eastern Europe or Russia, the tracks are just impossible to find as a english speaker, but lucky us there are channels like Floyd the Barber that have dozens if not hundreds of mixes of said tracks. If anyone knows some other youtube DJs like him lmk but for anyone who grew up listening to likes of The Prodigy enjoy, his volume 4 in bigbeat catafory is personal fave,the one w/ katyusha(missile truck) thumbnail.

Holy shit. These tunes are like some lost Crystal Method tracks from the Tweekend era! The groove goes through the roof. Big beat is such a great genre, there's so much variety. Fatboy Slim has simple and catchy, funky stuff. Prodigy have an aggressive rock sound. Chemical Brothers have more house influence. Crystal Method is trancy and melodic. Hardknox is raw and hip hop driven. And so on... This is why it's my favorite electronic genre. Only trip hop comes close having that much variety.

Remy I'm getting concerned. it seems my music taste is cosmically synchronized to yours as every tutorial you make lines up with my taste. once is an accident, (the madeon tutorial) twice is coincidence (the justice tutorial) three times is a pattern (now big beat) cease infringing upon my autonomy or your next tutorial will be on the subject of extensive physical rehabilitation

I'm starting with using samples and discovered accidentally big beat (so happy!) What I don't understand is how you get all the drum sample in the same tempo. Can somebody give me a hint? I'm using Ableton 11. Tnx!
