Just make sure you don’t work with water directly on Alcantara. Easier method to keep it clean: Get a high quality soft bristles brush. Store it in the armrest compartment. After every drive gently brush over the Alcamtara. The dust you will see is dirt coming out of the fibers. Alcantara is not a leather. It’s a fabric fiber that was named after an Italian company that produced the fiber initially. The companies name was: Alcantara.
