Duvets are covers for feathered blankets..?? Duvets not meant to be empty. I’m Confused? Why? My grandma would kill me if I didn’t put our comforters in duvet. This way you wash duvet one a month not comforter. 😢

Nope, not worth it for me lol. I sleep on a 3 inch rolling floor mat with 3 dogs. I just have a waterproof mattress protector that I made out of shower curtain liner (in case my incontinent dog wants to sleep with me on the bed, but typically she sleeps on a pillow next to my bed so we can still cuddle), a bedsheet underneath that, one pillow, and a sleeping bag that I turned into a blanket. Me and my dogs are too messy for this and I am way too heat intolerant 😂

The pillow bed is passe. The double stacked pillow, laying flat, his and hers side-by-side with a unifying lumbar pillow in front is what is featured by stylists. Or you could skip the lumbar for more simplicity. The pillows are utilitarian so doesnt matter if they are flat or fluffy. The whole point is the bed is actually useful for sleeping. Hotels usually only use a flat sheet, no fitted sheet. Save up for a higher quality high loft duvet filler instead of the 2 cheap duvets A modern luxury bed uses less but highest quality items. So skip the cheap pillows and the discount duvet fillers. And karate chopping pillows went away in the mid 2000s, dont do that. Just place on the bed. Less is more. Stop fussing.
