You have to have the latest version of Logic Pro X... But in the workspace window, right click next to the track and select the "Create Pattern Region" option..

You might .. I had to upgrade when they came out with 10.5. ... but im using 2021 version with the M1 chip

Yes just drag and drop other samples you have or use the free loops that come with logic (apple loops)

Apple Loops has thousands of sounds and loops you can use and it comes with Logic Pro X
