Hello, I am strongly considering the Crio set up with a few heat presses (looking at Hix HT400) for a high school. Basically, it would become a small business run by our senior students. Currently, many of our clubs on campus order t-shirts from outside vendors. The thought would be to have students (as part of a business class they take) make the t-shirts, manage the cost per unit, retail mark up, etc. Does this set-up seam feasible for that purpose? We usually need 50-100 t-shirts of a certain design at a time. Thanks!

I cannot consistently transfer. Can you answer me this for absolute clarification. Which side does the image need to print on. Matt or Shiny? The transfer paper should marry to which side? The matt or shiny? Is it a warm peel or cool?

Hi love the videos. Question? Do you use a lint roller before ironing on transfer also could you do more tutorials on the Digital Factory RIP SOFTWARE program?

Hello, i’m havist trouble with the same printer. When i’m rasterasing the image en print on the forever sheets it prints fine. But when I merge the A and B sheets the glue from the B sheet fills all the holes from the rasterisation…. What do I wrong?
@HeatPressNation

Here are a few different things you can try: - Lower your pressure. When the adhesive is hot, it's more flexible. If the pressure is too heavy, it can squeeze the adhesive out into the holes. - Lower your temperature/time. If you're using Forever on an HPN Signature Series, your temperature should be around 300°-315° or so with your time at about 90-110 seconds. If you're at the high end of either of those ranges, try a little less. - Adjust the choke on your white coverage. In your RIP, double click the job to open Job Ticket Properties. Go to Processing Options and try set the choke to 3 (medium).

What is the difference between the product you offer and The Magic Touch Cryo 8432? As for the rip, printer and consumable and obviously prices.
@HeatPressNation
@HeatPressNation 2 жыл бұрын
From what I can gather, the Magic Touch USA are also authorized Crio dealers, so the price, products, and RIP software are going to be the same. The difference would be the quality and ease of support, in addition to availability of complementary products like the transfer paper.

Pleasec help. What would be the reason why my transfer did not transfer to the shirt after doing everything that was explain in the video?
@HeatPressNation
@HeatPressNation 10 ай бұрын
Hi Jackie! There can be several factors. If you followed the instructions in the video, including time and temp, there might still be other reasons as to why it did not adhere. 1. Make sure to use firm pressure when marrying the A&B sheets together. 2. White Toner DTF prints require firm pressure, so you want to make sure you are giving it the most you can. 3. Is the fabric compatible with your media? 4. Was the garment new and from a wholesale supplier? (Garments that have been washed will have a layer of detergent and garments from a retail store will have a chemical sprayed to it that will cause adhering issues) 5. Was the transfer cold when peeled? Hope this helps!

How well does this printer work with a distressed design?
@HeatPressNation
@HeatPressNation 2 жыл бұрын
This printer gives you the ability to choose the shape of your rasterization, therefore, it will work well with distressed graphics.

If you transfer to a white t-shirt do you still need the white ghost under base? Or can you just print cmky and transfer over using the transfer paper?
@HeatPressNation
@HeatPressNation 3 жыл бұрын
No need for the white underbase if you're printing for a white shirt. In that case, you can stick with the color print only and it should still come out great.

Hello, I have been interested in acquiring a white toner system that works with fluorescent inks, I have some doubts that could be clarified for me; 1- the cost of the A3 size printer? , 2- with the purchase that I acquire? 3- Is there after-sales support for Latam / Spanish? thank you
@HeatPressNation

1) We have two A3 printers, the Crio 8432WDT, which is the shown in this video and the UniNet iColor 650. As of today (5/17/22) the Crio 8432WDT is in stock and ready to ship while the iColor 650 has a 6-8 week lead time. The iColor 650 is compatible with fluorescent toner; the Crio 8432WDT is not. Both printers retail for $7,995 and can be found at heat.press/whitetoner 2) I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I understand this question. 3) We are able to provide limited setup and installation support in Spanish. Advanced support is provided directly by the manufacturer. You can contact them directly to inquire as to whether or not they're able to provide support in other languages. iColor Support - www.icolorprint.com/get-support Crio Support - createwithcrio.com/contact/ Hope this helps! -Jared

Someone said that you can only get 200 to 300 prints if you want the colors to be vibrant. And makes you prints expensive because the toner is so expensive. Is this true
@HeatPressNation
@HeatPressNation 3 жыл бұрын
200-300 definitely sounds like an exception to the general print range you'll get from this printer. The total number of prints varies on the images, toner coverage per print, print size, transfer media, and other print settings. If you are printing on Tabloid/A3 media with complete toner coverage and your saturation maxed out, it's possible to get numbers this low. But that situation is very uncommon. A large majority of users will get several thousand prints before needing to replace a toner cartridge.

Jared what am I doing wrong when I go to peal b from A it pull my design off of A please help
@HeatPressNation
@HeatPressNation 2 жыл бұрын
There are a few things that could be contributing to this issue. First, you'll want to double-check the instructions for your paper and make sure your time, temperature, and pressure settings are all correct. You'll also want to make sure you're printing onto the correct side of the A-sheet. If those are all correct, then you'll want to check out this video we made with our best tips for a good A+B marriage: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJemn6p_iZutitU

I’m struggling as well. I followed every step exactly 4 different times and the transfers are not going off the sheets to the shirts. When I peel the transfer off the shirt the image stays on the transfer and either nothing or half the image on the shirts

Wow they took over the Oki company and put Crio on the printer LMAO and they raised the price SMH glad i got my oki 8432 years ago but to be honest i dont like it. I rather use sublimation it holds up for years with no fading or cracking like these white toner printers.

That's not quite how it went down. OKI announced they were discontinuing their products in the Americas (www.oki.com/us/printing/about-us/newsroom/news-and-information/press-center/2020/0901-END-OF-LIFE-NOTIFICATION-FOR-OKI-BRANDED-HARDWARE/index.html#). In order to continue to provide these awesome products in the US, an agreement was made to keep producing them under a new brand name with the same technology (www.goisw.com/okis-exclusive-oem-agreement/).

To many steps for me😮
@HeatPressNation
@HeatPressNation Жыл бұрын
Hi there! The number of steps for white toner prints is similar to most heat transfers. For example, direct to film: powder after printing, direct to garment: pre-treatment, HTV: cutting+weeding, etc.

The real advantage to having a white toner laser printer like the Crio being able to fulfill custom jobs, print on demand, and low-quantity orders. These are the jobs that most screen print shops can't or won't take.

It definitely depends on the volume. We recommend White Toner for small order jobs (1-10). For more than that, we would recommend transfers, like Supacolor.

Can you please tell us all why on earth are white toner printers sooooo expensive. $7,500 is crazy! It's a laser printer with white ink. But sells for 1000 times more of a price just for the fact of using white! It's the same with the Sawgrass printers. The A4 size is an affordable price. But for the A3 size is almost 3 times the price! Why? It's the same printer and ink. Just more plastic for a bigger size.
@HeatPressNation
@HeatPressNation 3 жыл бұрын
It is important to consider the value this brings to your business. $7,500 definitely seems like a lot at first, but not so much when you consider the only other way to get full-color weedless transfers on black cotton shirts on demand. That option would be a DTG printer. These are awesome, but a full setup starts at over $16,000. They require a lot more maintenance and attention to upkeep. Taking things the other way, the SG1000 sublimation printer can print 11"x17" and comes in at around $1,600. But sublimation is limited to white and light-colored 100% polyester (or poly-rich) garments. If your business does not have the need for full-color transfers on black cotton shirts printed on-demand, then I could definitely see how white toner systems are not worth the investment for you. -Jared
