I just bought an x100v with plans for using on my first trip to Italy in late summer. I've shot with Nikon cameras for > 40 yrs so the fuji is a totally different experience. Thanks for a great video.

Why doesn’t my camera do the live preview yours does when scrolling through Q menu? Any idea?
@davey_gravy Жыл бұрын
Is your lens cap on? Just kidding. Perhaps it’s in the menus? That’s odd, I haven’t had that issue.

So I just downloaded the Fujixweekly app and it seems most of the recipes I looked at cannot be programmed into the x100v, including the Kodak Portra v2, that I believe you liked. Can you explain?
@davey_gravy Жыл бұрын
I believe that anyone can make a recipe and call it whatever they like, so be aware of that. The sensor in the X100V is the X-Trans IV, so look for recipes that are make for that sensor. The recipe I use is: Classic Chrome Dynamic Range: DR400 Highlight: 0 Shadow: -2 Color: +2 Noise Reduction: -4 Sharpening: -2 Clarity: -2 Grain Effect: Strong, Small Color Chrome Effect: Strong Color Chrome Effect Blue: Weak White Balance: 5200K, +1 Red & -6 Blue ISO: Auto, up to ISO 6400 Exposure Compensation: +1/3 to +1 (typically)
