This is great information. Thanks. I have a question, what is the difference btw the flash cure lamp and a regular lamp. Do I need to get the flash cure one as well?

Hi 😊 The flash cure lamp is great for applying your tips to ensure you don’t have bubbles and so that your nails are straight. You could try doing it with a regular lamp but it does make the process more challenging.

Hi, the gel glue is what I use to adhere the tips with and the builder gel is used for the overlay method.

Buff down where the line meets! It smooths it out. I use an e-file and it tapers right into my natural nail

@@JourneyswithJai I make sure I buff the nail bed, clean around my cuticles, dehydrate, prime…step by step & they just pop off after a day or 2. 1 by 1😐

I’m scared of the e file so I hand buff near the cuticle so maybe that’s it. I won’t give up though lol

That’s OK you don’t necessarily need to use a E file directly on your nail bed in order to rough it up properly. I would recommend a 100 to 180 grit file maybe trying that as opposed to just buffing the surface of the nail, because buffing it will keep it smooth, and we want to create texture. I hope that helps a bit 🤍

Hi, so you’re putting down the gel tips first, and then using poly gel in replacement of the builder gel? I don’t see why it wouldn’t work I would definitely recommend using a clear poly gel.

You can also use your nail dehydrator to prep your tip because it contains Accattone
