I love these tips. I'm definitely using the 3000K bulb suggestion. My home is English Cottage so color is where I typically land. Adding artwork has transformed my home. They really do tell a story about who you are. I'm drawn to trains, flowers, horses, and old maps. Being a mother of three boys, I love masculine themes with feminine touches throughout.

Great video, Brandy. Love your idea about adding a little vignette or display of food or something like that to make a home fee lived in and inviting. I hadn’t thought about that before, but it’s so true. If you go to someone’s house and there’s bread baking in the oven, or a pitcher of lemonade on the counter. It truly does make it cozier

Great tips, Brandy! I go for the antique books, and I would love to have a library full. I also collect pastoral prints and etchings. I live in Arizona, like yourself, but I really struggle with a layered bed. We keep our house around 68, and we’re still only able to sleep with a sheet in the summer. I would rather not have to put bedding back on the bed every morning, but I have started using a 100% linen or 100% cotton duvet cover without an insert during the hotter months.

I live in Arizona also, how do you have all that layering of bedding? Isn’t it too hot? I just have a quilt on my bed couldn’t think about anything heavier in the summer.

It's key in my home and can make such a difference in any space. The lighting I choose in my home creates a mood that is warm, inviting and I'll say romantic, "cozy", relaxing, home. Wow that's such good advice about the lighting and I love layering especially with textured accessories I absolutely love scents in my home I think it's the next best thing to acesseriezing you furniture it's like perfume it's that finish touch you need to create a masterpiece I love all of it again you are always giving helpful tips I actually always have to light candles in my house it's makes me feel extra cozy in a way however a fresh clean scent is my favorite thing about a house it's a good way to express your personal taste and personality just like coffee table books 😜
