I might be able to explain the ai line modifier better. If it is above 1.00 then the ai think they have more grip than they actually have, which is why they will slide up the track higher. The opposite happens if you go under 1.00.

Just downloaded it 2 days ago and moded it, now have the 1990 Nascar season from the film Days of Thunder with all the cars, and some indy car cups as well. Still learning more and doing more day by day. I REALLY need to get a wheel for full enjoyment and control, man, what a great game.

Just curious question, I've done a lot of messing around with .ini for road courses to no real avail. Is there anything you would suggest to make the ai want to make a move at a place like watkins glen

Is there any mod or patch that makes it possible to lower the minimum number of laps to less than 10 or at least 2? Wipeouts in multiplayer combined with Waiting for extremely long races to end is a pain in a Lan Party.

If you are talking about the total number of laps in a race: You can lower the default_event_laps in the track.ini file to whatever number you want. I just tested setting it to 5 at Daytona and I was able to do a 1 lap shootout.

thanks for the video but when i do the graphics change on the files i get a loss of fps and lags during the race. specially before the green flag in front of the pits. any idea on how to sort it out ?

How can i make the outside pass possible? Since the inside line on the game is very OP and the AI cant pass on the outside on 98% of the tracks i tested

Some tracks allow for you to change the Outside line grip in the .ini file but other than that you won't be able to mess with how the ai make moves. They will always pass on the inside at all Oval tracks.

there is a way to edit the LP lines the cars use, its called REFLAP i believe but you have to do that yourself-ive done it but cant remember they key combination and you have to do it in testing mode, think its like cntl/tab and they key above tab(~~)but u might not be talking about that but it a neat tool..Lolol

I use Keyboard too, I set my steering assist too about 60% and it helps keep the car straight

Does this game work with g25? I'm not getting it to work. the pedals don't work. if the steering wheel works, the pedals don't work. if the pedals work, the steering wheel does not rotate. rfactor, ets2 and nascar 15 work fine.
