How to do this in heat , when layering a trench coat is out of the question! Also , when young I could wear shirts and tops tucked in , but not now ! Guess , light cotton fabric layering is an answer , if you can find it. I once found a pale grey bamboo fabric three quarter sleeve cardigan with the tie effect in front … could wear it undone also … it was still cool … I didn’t overheat in it and it protected me from sunburn. I tend to wear straight thru dresses in summer …think I look like “ widow twanky” in waisted dresses. !!!
