apps like Amiiboss only allows you to write like a maximum of three times, if you want to write more you'll have to pay for it :( or you could use a different app that does the same thing!

Can you please make a vidoe on how to import/download the files as well as the key bin file into your files app on the phone. It doesn’t say anywhere for me to download and when I hold it it says to copy it and when I do it says it’s not a accurate file and it needs to be a certian size as well. oh don't worry about it! you just need to tap the three dots when you get to the bin file and then you can choose there to save it to your Files app. you have to scroll down a bit to see the save option. let me know if you were able to download them!

@@lady_godiva I was able to download the bin file correctly cause I backed it up to my iCloud, but with the villager files it wouldn’t let me download it as a file it only did when I was on my computer and when I tried to put it in a google document so I can transfer it to my phone it wouldn’t allow me so I’m not sure what to do cause when I click on the files it says that I can download it but it shows computer keys when I do download it nothing shows up 😭

isn’t this illegal? it’s a great idea and all, and an amazing alternative for those who can’t buy the official amiibo cards, but i’m pretty sure this is classified as piracy and i don’t want anyone to get into legal trouble.

i also don’t want anyone to get in trouble. what i wanted to show through this video is how you can make amiibos for yourself. i believe that distributing them out and making money off of these cards is illegal and i’d warn people to be careful if they do that. as for me, this is purely just for people who want to get their favorite villager!

you’re not a noob! making amiibo cards is mainly so you can get your favorite villager into your island without having to villager hunt or rely on RNG. you can make amiibo cards for other purposes as well on games aside from animal crossing, for extra items or characters!

nope! i did all of these on my phone only. just save the .bin files to your Files app and you're good

hmm the only times that has happened with me was when i didn't write the .bin files on the card and the switch can't read it because it's empty. have you tried other villagers/characters? also sometimes you need to position the card/coin in a specific way so the switch can read it, even with official amiibo cards.

unfortunately no because nfc cards allow you to transfer the .bin files into it so the switch can detect it :( it works kind of like a qr code

i've been doing this since the release of the version 1 switch and have not been banned! the information in the nfc cards are already in the game so i think it'd be pretty hard for them to trace who's using an unofficial amiibo card. but you can do the research if you're still hesitant to try this out!

you don't sound dumb at all! what i did was just send or download the .bin files on my phone and you can find them in your Files app and just look for it when you're in the Amiiboss app. did that help?
