I used to paint all the time and my dad was my biggest fan. He asked me to do a painting of a lighthouse but he passed before I had it finished. I haven’t touched a brush since that was 10 years ago and since I have lost my mom as well. I have been having the urge to start again and I thought maybe I would try an ornament so I stumbled onto your channel. I’m very glad I did. Maybe I’ll get the courage up to give this a try. Thanks. OMG is all I can say they are amazing. I use to paint but since my late husband passed away (its been 11 years since he passed because the VA Hospital ICU nurse made a mistake)I have found it very difficult to move forward my David was an amazing man. I have returned to Ireland for a while first to allow myself to grieve his loss and heal. Now after reading all the comments below I may try it again in his name. You a truly a gifted person and oh so generous with sharing your gift with us all. I just love how the ornaments turned out. This video makes me want to run out and buy supplies so I can start. I did bring some foam balls with me from the UDA as I make hand quilted ones and even is something I stopped doing till just recently. Again they are just beautiful and for sharing them all with us. God Bless

I loved this. My mother was a porcelain artist and before she passed she painted a bunch of porcelain Christmas ornaments for each of her kids and grandkids. When she passed her blank porcelain ornaments came to me. I want So badly to paint them with acrylics and stumbled onto your video in my search for a tutorial. Thank you! It was inspiring!
