Jason Hodges' work is stunning. I was at my wits end, figuring out a way to redo a 1/2 done pottery figure (after being in an accident & then put through an abusive ordeal that ultimately led to God showing me not to even seek to work in the same college pottery dept. where I was mistreated). So I was left looking for solutions & viewed so many optional materials. Many were too expensive for me at this stage (still an art college student) or not archival, etc. I prayed to be shown the right way to go about it last night & then find this video today. Amazingly, in the middle of the video, you show an exactly similar piece to the one I am trying to create, of a muscular man, with face looking upward toward heaven! This was not only an amazing, inspiring video, but a clear guidance on how to proceed next with the work i am trying to do. Yall are awesome! Just so thankful for you & love your video & the art! Blessings! Love wins. Peace in God.

What cement to use and also the sand please. Plus any additives like washing up liquid and PVA glue, or anything else. Thank you. Just starting off. Is the concrete easier to work with if it left for a while, etc.

Would this method last in a cold climate? I live in New England and frost and ice are a problem for concrete outdoor sculptures, pots etc.
