Thank you for this simple yet thorough idea. I made this lightbox yesterday and my photos look amazing, even the ones I took with my phone!👌

Thank you for the tutorial! I made the lightbox today and its perfect. I bought the wistream glow 200 led panel. I ended up building the box a bit different. I ended up placing the top and buttom canvas on the end of the backcanvas to make it taller inside of the box and then I placed the sidecanvases on the highlevel so the box has the same depth throughout and tiny legs. So hard to describe in another language then my own, sorry. But Im grateful for the video!

This is a great build and seems much more sturdy vs the cardboard box options. Will this work with larger canvases I have laying around?
@Jewelrymarketer2 жыл бұрын
It should! You don't need anything really big for jewelry though so our lightboxes have always been pretty small. If you'd like to see more of what we use you can check out jewelrymarketerpro.com/jmm

Any suggestions for doing this on a larger size like 45 x 45 inches, if those frames aren't available? Also can you can you show how to place a backdrop in a large box?

This looks like a good idea, is the lighting good?

Now I would revise and use a different light, but it would bring up the cost by quite a bit. This is a great start though!

Buonasera, è possibile avere il link specifico della luce che hai utilizzato per acquistarlo online? Perché nel link che hai postato non lo trovo! ;) grazie mille

@@mlinden2505 Makes no difference when it comes to the light you buy. The aputure MC isn't tethered to a DSLR its a standalone light

How do you diffuse the light so that it's not creating hot spots on high shine jewelry surfaces? Or does the light itself have a frosted window?
@Jewelrymarketer2 жыл бұрын
Great question! Diffusion paper can be bought cheaply on amazon, but your light ought to come with a diffusion. That 'frosty' window you're talking about is normally from an actual softbox ontop of a light. For all of our professional lights we always grab softboxes for them to reduce the harshness of direct light

Would this work with a bigger box or would the lighting be worse if the walls were further apart?
@Jewelrymarketer2 жыл бұрын
I like the idea! I personally would add more light in if possible if you’re going to have a larger box. Possibly consider getting a wired set up for a single light, they’re generally brighter than a battery powered

You state that this project costs $40 to build. Where do I purchase this light to stay within that budget? You mention an Aputure MC light...I can't find one for less than $100.
@Jewelrymarketer2 жыл бұрын
The MC is more expensive, the original light that we suggested was under that price point but now it's up to $40. This is the original light and it is still available >>> www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072DTKLJK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Would 3 lights be better, tip and sides? Can this light run 24/7 ?
@droodalmas25352 жыл бұрын
I spent about 15 dollars to make the whole thing

There we go! Great job man. Keeping things cheap is the way to go for rig set ups, and lightboxes are included in that would love to see some example photos!
