Did you import your kit into your MPC Live? Did the artwork follow? I have kitmaker, too. I didn’t realize that you then need to proceed and continue the process in the MPC Expansion Builder.

Welcome to the channel. I do it with the expansion builder so I can add the the cover art because kit maker don’t do that. Or I don’t know how to do it in there. 👍🏾🙏🏾

Thank you for the video! I have one question. I convert my Maschine expansion with the Kit Maker as described in the video and also use exactly as shown the MPC Expansion Tool. However, when I then load the individual programs in the MPC software, each of the individual programs always contains the same sounds. What am I doing wrong? Have I overlooked something? I would be very happy about an answer and help! Greetings from Germany!

I am not sure why you are getting the same sound in every program I never had that issue

whys good? can kit maker make an expansion from your own one shot samples and loops? or does it only create expansions for pre made drum kits and other different companies expansions? like can I create my own expansions packs with my separate sounds or samples that I put togeather? and do you need to use the mpc expansion builder ,I have an older make the system won't let me use the newer updated mpc beats? thanks Dozzy Dos!

You have to make sure the name of it right. When you do the personal.name.file it have to be like that with no space

Just send them the folder with the files and then they will drop the xmp file in the Mpc software

+Dale Wheeler after you load in the the expansions it’s a way to take it and send it to you stand-alone hardware. I am not sure how to do it because I don’t use the stand-alone MPC🙏🏾👍🏾

You Never Showed Clearly The Step To Open Up The Expansion Builder, You Jumped Thru That Part Extremely Fast... Maybe My Eye's Are Just Not Seeing Where You Placed The Mouse To Engauge The Expansion Builder... But I'll Keep Trying To Catch It Frame By Frame Thou.

The expansion builder is in the same folder that your MPC application is in. If you are on a windows computer. Just go to the bottom left corner and search for the Akai folder 📁 in the folder should be the MPC app and the expansion builder app. You have to make sure you install it when you was installing the MPC 2.0 software
