Thank you for sharing! I don't see how to use the unflavored gelatin. Does gelatin also mixed with the cooking oil for an hour?
@rainershinefishing33112 жыл бұрын
After actually making this video, don't use gelatin. It actually will just clump up a little at the bottom of the bottle! Live and learn🤙

What would you recommend putting in attractant for freshwater fishing sir
@rainershinefishing33112 жыл бұрын
Totally, but I would use different bait to make the attractant. Whatever your local food source for the fish you would want to catch, I would use. For example, if bass is your target, I would substitute the mullet and shrimp with shiners and crawfish or something along those lines.
@fabio.08Ай бұрын
Im sorry for responding so late but... In order for fishes to detect the smell it needs to mix with the water, you'll be the judge of that

Would it be better if you grind those baits in a food processor or something and then boil it on and strain it afterwards?
@rainershinefishing33112 жыл бұрын
I think that would work great! I would do that if I had a food processor.

redfish is a sight predator. it will chase and bite if you get its attention. the true test is if you just soak your lure and leave it and catch a fish, then you got something special.
@rainershinefishing33112 жыл бұрын
I don't disagree with you, this is just an alternative to larger companies like Procure and other scented attractant products that people like to put on their lures. Does it work? Who knows! Still catching fish! I personally think adding this bait to your lure helps with landing fish when they miss the first hit, get a taste, and then come back for another. Also this isn't just for reds. But there is a huge market for people that swear by these attractant companies and I'm just giving an alternative to make your own!

@@rainershinefishing3311Pro Cure might be something you can copy but Dr Juice has a bunch of pheromones added and it sticks to soft plastics better according to the Salt Strong guy's experiments.

What if you inject the attractant with a syringe? Would that make the scent last longer since it won't easily wash away?
@rainershinefishing33112 жыл бұрын
I mean the bait would need a hollow point inside to hold the liquid otherwise it would come out. That's just what I think. I personally like to add it directly to the bait inside a bag or container to allow it to soak up the attractant.
@Moose17762 жыл бұрын
@@rainershinefishing3311 any plans on selling the product in the future?
@rainershinefishing33112 жыл бұрын
@@Moose1776 maybe down the road, I want to play around with recipes and make different attractants for specific fish, different consistencies for whatever the angler is looking for. I want to perfect something before I sell it someone. I also want to make my own soft plastics and maybe infuse natural scents into the baits themselves. This is all near future ideas I'm trying around with.

It doesn’t make sense. Oil and water doesn’t well so how does it attract fish?
@rainershinefishing3311 Жыл бұрын
The bait(lure) soaks it up and gives it a flavor in theory. If a fish wacks it, but doesn't take the bait, it may give you a second chance at a strike vs it tasting like plastic. Some people sware by attractants like procure, etc. This is a more natural alternative you make yourself. I've caught plenty of fish with this attractant on soft plastic. Does it work? Maybe, maybe not. But I'm still catching fish with confidence and enjoying fishing.
