When my mom got sick before she died I had her create her beautiful handwriting so I could have it. This past Christmas I made her delicious peanut butter fudge recipe on tea towels in her writing. They turned out beautiful and it looks just like her hand written recipe card.

I just bought my Cameo 4 and I'm so excited to learn all of these new things that I can not do with my Cricut. This makes me excited that I don't have to try and write or paint with my own handwriting. I've been told I have beautiful penmanship and where I work, they always ask me to write on the boards for them.

Hehe, your daughter will appreciate that font when she's in her teens and needs a note from her mom :-D (Both my kids have faked my signature on tests they got bad grades on. Thankfully they both tried it in primary school and got caught lol)

Goody ! Already done my own lettering following Silhouette's Tutorial. But you gave very good tips ! PS : Your scanner can't be recognized if it's not TWAIN compatible. And since all scanners are 32-bit, if your Silhouette Studio has been downloaded to 64-bit, it won't work. Learned it recently... Now I can use my scanner and my PixScan mat with my scanner which is much better than my cell phone camera...

Hi just about to buy silhouette cameo 4, brand new user in this printing world. Should i buy bundle on offer by Amazon? My first printing job will be on Matt white vinyl for office door signs, has to be easy removable as and when asked to change, also i see that i will need transfer paper. Which company is best to supply this to me in UK please? Any hints and tips gratefully received. Thanks Dawn

I cannot get it to print with the dots on the bottom any suggestions. The dots on the bottom don't show on the print preview

I just figured this one out. In the Print dialog before you send it to your Printer, click on "Shrink oversized pages" or something similar to get the dots out of the margin area. It works great for me now.

Problems with SSBE freezing when clicking on the Font Creation button. It's the only part of SS that freezes. I sent a message to support. It does work much better on my laptop, only a very short freeze/delay, but unworkable on my desktop.

I think maybe if, when you resize your letters, you make them take up the whole box, it might make them closer together when typing.

Hi Becky, today I printed the font creation form and it’s missing a column. Can I draw the missing line? it looks like it combined the h and I column. Do I need to contact Silhouette?

Hey Chris, I think I would check your printer settings, usually this means that your image is cut off by your printer margins. Hope this helps! ---Becky

@@DesignBundles Hi Becky, Ben from Silhouette sent me this... I thought I’d copy and paste in case this happens to someone else. I understand the font creation page was missing a column after you printed it. I am happy to help you with this. To ensure this issue doesn't mess with the process of creating your font, you will want to reprint it so it is correct. The following steps can be taken to help ensure the entire grid prints properly: Adjust the DPI quality settings in the software Open Silhouette Studio® Go to the Edit menu (PC) or the Silhouette Studio menu (Mac) Select Preferences Select General Adjust the Resolution of image sent to printer to 300 DPI Select the Apply option Print again Continue to experiment with the various dpi settings to see if this may have any positive effect. Check the print quality settings for the printer. Confirm if there is any change when adjusting the “Print Quality” for the printer options. For example, most printers will have an option for “Best Print Quality” and have a scale that goes down from there. Open Silhouette Studio® Go to File > Print Select Preferences for the printer Attempt to locate the options for "Print Quality" Adjust this setting if present Continue to experiment with the various quality settings to see if this may have any positive effect. Remove and re-install the printer driver. If further concerns are met, we would recommend to uninstall and reinstall the printer driver (the actual driver for the printer model). Please ensure that everything is updated from the latest driver offered from the printer manufacturer's website. After doing this, please re-start the computer and try to print again. If continued concerns are met and you may happen to have access to any other printer, please print a test page to another printer from the same computer to determine if there may be a conflict unique to the printer or if the issue is universal regardless of the printer used.

I also found that when I first printed the form, it was missing the dots on the bottom that it needed to recognize the form when scanned back in. I clicked "Shrink oversized pages" and all of the information printed. After that, it scanned perfectly fine back into SS.

I just upgraded to the Business edition and it is totally missing the font creation, puzzle and weed line panels - anyone have any idea how to locate them because they are hiding from me! grrrrr
