any way to make it work with philips hue sync box?

Is this capable (via philips hub) to get information from philips ambilight tv and act like extended hue lights?

The link you supplied points to several versions. Which one did you use?

It depends on what LED strip you're using. In this case with used a RGBCCT Controller but it would be enough with RGBW as our LED Strip only hade RGB + Warmwhite and not a additional Coolwhite spectrum, that's why we left one slot in the adapter. We linked to more updated ZigBee 3.0 edition in the description.

do these work with philips hue sync? or it's assumed that all devices connected to the philips bridge work with the hue sync?
@HumanSuten2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately third-party devices connected to the Hue bridge will not work with Hue sync, only Hue products will.

what happened to all your old videos?

Great video. What's the benefit of doing this and integrating it with phillips hue? Why not just buy a WiFi controller to attach to the LED strip so it can be used with Alexa, Google home etc for a smaller cost?
@HumanSuten2 жыл бұрын
Integrating into Philips Hue Bridge like this allows you to create scenes with other devices to connected to the Philips Hue Bridge, which you then can activate using Google Home / Alexa. We find this a better solutions than using Google Home routines, but Alexa is much better when it comes to create scenes, routines etc within that system. We don't use Alexa so this is a better solution for us.
