Although I am over a year late to this being posted, I decided to buy some because I did not want to make my own. For anyone that is on the fence or in the same position as me, I highly recommend buying if you're needing that little push to buy. Very well made, and the packaging is very nice. These also glide/slide/move (whatever word you want to use) so much better than hyperglides or hotline skates. They are not scratchy either. Another huge positive about having these as mouse feet is that you can remove the originals, and make sure to place these in spots that don't cover the screws. Very useful if you are taking or plan to take apart your mouse to mod it often. When you first get them, they are a bit slow, but give it about "1 day" or a good playing session, and they will speed up. The glide on these is amazing.

How about plumber's teflon tape, the kind used to create low friction for screwing things onto threads on copper (metal) pipes? Did anyone try it? User Kransetolio commented further down about using scotch tape, peresumably the matte finish tape. It does help, but is not as good as a new mouse. So how about "teflon" tape? UPDATE: The teflon tape I have does not have an adhesive backside, so it is not usable.

just look for the ones that have the mushroom domes as he mentioned. it helps to round the edges of the teflon which is exactly what you want. the hollow ones are straight and will make those straight flat cuts as he showed in the video

Hello, are the magnets necessary ? can't you just squeeze it hard between 2 hard platform ? great video btw, planning on doing my own feet for razer viper.
@alexyt24 жыл бұрын
I believe that any kind of press would work, as long as you can flatten the dome created by the hole-punch. If you were to use some other means, I would still do all the dots at once so that they end up with the same height. One clear advantage of the magnets is that they apply the same pressure every time, so you don't have to worry about one batch of dots being higher than others.
