I hate to sound negative guys, but what a disappointment that was! The exhaust sounds just as bad as a stock?? Maybe under load it sounds a lot better.....

@@RegalAutosport The interesting thing is that Porsche engineers engine sound for a lot of other car manufacturers so how can it be they neglected the flag ship 911? Good that the owner is satisfied. That is what matters.

Just like how Manthey can make a PORSCHE Motorsport product go much faster, they leave a lot of performance and other dynamics on the table as they make a product for the majority

I did the same exhaust and the L pipes on my last 992 turbo S. That car was black also. Sounded very good. I had it tuned because the L pipes will definitely throw an exhaust code. My new turbo S should be delivered by September. I am not going to tune this one, but I’m thinking about doing this exhaust but not the L pipes. I’d love to hear this car at different speeds. Great video by the way.

It definitely sounds different on the road and under load, sadly the static rev limit ruins it.

I never been a big Porsche fan. Fast cars for sure though. There is no way to make a 6 cylinder sound as good as a V-8 imo. Also I think Akropovic is extremely over priced. You get the best sound improvement on turbos by going with less restrictive downpipes. I prefer 200-250 cell cats over catless as I don’t like the smell of no cats and doesn’t make much difference power wise. I Went with Capristo 200 cell Downpipes on my Ferrari 488 and left rest of it stock and was thrilled. Also did Capristo downpipes on my Lambo urus and Army Tricks full exhaust. Also thrilled with that one. Was a fraction of Akropovic on both.

Is there an idiots guide on APR stage 1 power options and risks? On a 2018 Golf GTI, Euro spec non-PP, 230hp stock, manual with 30k miles, no other performance mods (other than ECB brakes, PS5s) and want to put in a Holy Shift kit. Because Akra is not a great option. It more like an OEM+ option and is very overpriced even though it has a great quality. Also a Porsche is an everyday autobahn car that can cover ground at immense speeds everyday all day without doing your head in nor upsetting anyone else. It’s a stealth car. Now saying that you can make them very loud. Just go catless 😂
