I LOVE IT! The problem is that I have no one to practice this dance strp at home. So my 'practice is going to be at Milongas. I have one to go to tonite. Going to attempt it then. It looks better in a close embrace than the open embrace. Then it is a 4 day Philadelphia Tango Festival this upcoming Thursday-Sunday. So far I am able to do the side-back Ocho onto a cross dance combo that you two showed last month rather well most if the time. Anything else you have shown I have trouble with. Cannot move fast enough to do a sacada shown, either by you or my Tango instructor.

This dance step.is harder to do. Harder than I have imagined. Even practicing at home solo, I had difficulty stepping back and thrn stepping to the side like you did, keeping the weight in the middle like I think.you have. I attempted it a few times, and the follower ended up.doing Ochos, which not only caught me off guard, but off balance. So I abandoned the idea of attempting it It would be neat to do, but with just under 4 years of learning Tango dancing, it is beyond my capabilities....

Nice,but This can only be done When you re very sure there is no other couple behind you,Because the back step is NOT really done on a crowdy floor.

Step back is not that crucial, I think, could be very small or a part of anoher technique (square?). Let's try and see... :-) To be honest, milongas are "not so crowded" here in the Czech Republic, but we are working on it...

Couldn't this just be done from a rebote? Different look. Equally, it doesn't need a huge step backwards, and I tend towards thinking the space under my posterior is mine. If it's obviously unsafe (you've checked), then don't step there.
