Wow this is beautiful! And your makeup skills are amazing. A tip for the future if you make this kind of dress again though: Your dress would have draped better if 1: You had either built a corset into your bodice, or worn one underneath, your waist and shoulders look like they're taking a lot of strain from the heavy fabric. 2:Typically dresses from the period that inspired this came in parts, the skirt and the bodice were separate pieces, which would be why the netting in the front of your skirt looks a bit off, the bodice would sit over top of it possibly secured by some hooks and eyes. 3: It looks like you have a good skirt support but an extra petticoat never goes amiss! Either silk or linen and petticoats from the period often had lace trim and ruffles on the bottom and added additional fluffiness to your skirt! However the finished dress is lovely, your pattern piecing is flawless and the amount of detail that went into those sleeves is amazing. A stunning creation all around!

I would aswell suggest a different style of hoopskirt than what she probably has here. A simple hoopskirt with just parallel hoops is not gonna hold all that weight, thats why you see her skirt sliding to the fort where there is less material to hold up. A bum pad can be added aswell (if not should going by the style of the dress its around the 1780's, so most or all the puffness is at the back). Historical dress are as you said all about structure and support. All that material has to have support to be able to stay in a particular position.

The crinoline and the bumroll were only invented and used in different parts of the victorian era much much later (19th century; Sidenote: the victorian era was also pretty long, so fashion changed multiple times).

In the victorian era at some point the weight was only at the back and dresses where slim at the sides which was created with these special bum rolls.

And that overgarment which she at some point it the video pulls back to show what's underneath show like you said that 1780 type of dresses. So yeah like you said the fashion was changing. But to be really specific they changed their fashion more often than our time does. Nonetheless despite the period judging by all the decorations on the dress and just the general style of it just give the vibe were you just need more puff and structure. So bumrolls and Caroline and boning should be a must. Maybe it's just my opinion but if you attempt to do historical dresses like what basically everyone is referring to are mostly structured pretty heavy. And it makes sense cause that he'll of a lot of fabric to vary around. Imagine caring around 3 skirts attached to a single bra. Your shoulders gonna die in like an hour. Don't get me wrong I'm not disagreeing with you just kinda felt like saying that monologue 😅sorry

And I know the dress she made was indeed not historcally accurate so wearing a crinolie with a fantasy dress also isn't a big deal for me. I was just further analyzing what would be the accurate undergarment for an accurate 1780s dress since I'm very interested in fashion history... Sorry for geeking out about that😅

I was reading the Remarried empress book because I was so impatient for the next update on the Webtoon 😂 it’s kind of cool, there’s a book and audio reading for the books for a lot of the Webtoons on naver.
