The problem on MAC OS is that the apps are not listed. The tutorial should have more info than just open the settings.

You're right. The only application that appears there is "Zoom", but not Safari and the others that should appear. What I want is to know how to add more applications to the microphone to activate it, since I cannot speak in Google Meet through the microphone due to that problem.

if you have a problem that your app is not listed, try to reload your mac and try again. There should be pop-ups for camera and mic - click allow/ok

For the people that are facing an issue where the ‘Chrome’ browser icon is not showing in the Settings: 1. Start a ‘Google Meet’ in your Google Chrome browser (choose ‘Start a meeting now’) 2. You will get a pop-up request from Chrome to access your Camera + Mic 3. Give ‘access’ to all 4. Done! Now if you go to your Camera + Mic setting in the Privacy & Security you will see that Chrome is now listed on both.

Here's the solution: You have to restart your macbook and then press and hold de CMD and R keys simultaneously, then turn on the Macbook. Once you're on the recovery mode, go to utilities and open the terminal Then type "csrutil enable" then hit enter Then type "reboot" and hit enter Now try to open Google Chrome in a Website like Google Meet, It will ask permissions to use the camera and Mic. And it will be done. Maybe you disable the csrutil in the past, that was my case. I Hope this works for everyone.
