How to Manage "Dropping" When Training Your Horse

Hi Shawna, I hope you see this comment. I have been training my horse using +R for just over 4 months. (I do have a coach from Horse Charming) and the biggest challenge is my horse keeps dropping. He looks totally relaxed and happy to train but I cannot stop the dropping. We are now at the stage of target for movement (just a step or two at the moment). Just wondering, since you posted this video, what your thoughts are on dropping now and any other ideas on managing it as we are not at the stage of trotting yet. Many thanks.

Sometimes dropping gets accidentally trained (clicked/marked, reinforced) into a behavior.
