how about one product have 2 Routes buy and dropshiping. how to create SO with buy route and then other SO with dropship route, I try to implement your instruction on odoo 15, but if I choose BUY route, it still create Purchase order for Drop shipping. how to solve this issue.? thanx alot

If both Buy and Dropship are activated as routes, it will always follow the route with the lower sequence number. What you can do is that instead of adding routes in the product, add routes in the sale order line. Thus it follows the route mentioned in the sale order line, provided route applicability should be given in the sale order line.

@@cybrosys-technologies Thanks for your reply. That's what I figured (about the sales lines) but Buy is not available there. It shows "Replenish on Order (MTO)" and "Dropship". What makes this more confusing is that the MTO route is not activated within the Inventory tab of the product. I have only Buy and Dropship activated. I'm only experimenting with Odoo now so I don't know if I did something wrong somewhere. I _think_ I'm doing things correctly but... this behavior doesn't quite make sense.

If you add 2 dropshipping products to the sales order and confirm the sale, it generates 2 purchase orders... why?

If the vendor you have chosen for dropshipping the 2 products are different, different purchase orders will be created. If the vendor for 2 products in the sale order is the same, odoo creates a single purchase order.

Ensure the Purchase or Inventory module is installed and enable the dropshipping from the configuration settings of the purchase or inventory module. Still, if dropshipping is not visible, check whether the operation type and route is archived or not.
