Bless you Kayleigh! So good to see you are feeling a bit better than you did. Once you are back in the marina you can concentrate on building up your energy levels again while dreaming and mentally planning next year's adventures. It will soon come around! In the meantime take care of yourself.

Well, I admire you. Even though you were really ill, you took the boat away from people so you could isolate and reduce the risk of spreading it. It must have been awful for you. Well done for not giving in and building up your strength by exercising. You are an inspiration. I hope you get your fitness back quickly.

Glad to see your positive, need to work at getting my strength back attitude. Walking is a great exercise method, but I heard you mention joining a gym, the varied equipment available should allow you to build back strength in your whole body. Stay positive, there are many followers out here wishing you all the best...

You poor sausage! I’m glad the worst is over and you are on the mend. Try not to rush it. And you do know, don’t you, that any of us would be glad to help in any way we can-even if only to take the dogs out for a good walk. I was very pleased to hear that you were emergency-prepared in terms of water, food etc. Sensible! Anyway, very best wishes to you all. Sarah x

This is the first time I've seen your channel. My heaŕt goes out to you in what you've just survived. It's hard enough dealing with illness as a single woman on land. Well done. I'm sending healing thoughts your way from here in Texas.

Good to see you on the road to recovery. It will take time. I am recovering from a traumatic canal accident and found it therapeutic to document it on my channel and talk about it when people asked. It may help you, in time, to talk about your experience but thank you so much for being brave enough to share this difficult time in your life. Sending you hugs and good wishes for a speedy recovery.

Thank you. I watched your vlog when the accident happened. I was so sorry to see it. How are you feeling now? I hope you're doing better. I felt sharing was important and you're right it definitely helped with the healing process. 💗

Thank you for replying and watching the video. I am recovering well but want to be back to where I was. Age may be against me though. I sincerely hope that you recover your strength and mental well-being. Try to get a little better each day, count your blessings/positive things that happen and do things daily that bring you joy. I hope these words help you as much as they help me. 🙂

Dear Kayleigh keep getting fit and strong with your lovely dogs . We’re you supported by any health care workers? Here in South Africa the virus seems to be much less than it was , just over the third wave and most of us are out and about but masked up . Thank you for letting us into your life. When we were on our boat in 2006 , I became ill but fortunately was moored outside St Mary’s hospital and spent the night in the ward there , so I could imagine it could be a problem if you are out in the sticks on your own . You would worry about your dogs wouldn’t you?

Hi Kayliegh, im so pleased your slowly recovering. I can fully relate what you have been through. I got covid myself march last year working on a ward with covid patients and was ill for over 2 weeks. I couldnt cope because i was too weak and tired to do anything at the time to change gas bottles or anything. I couldn't eat anything for over a week so food wasnt a issue for me just heating. But its great advice keeping everything topped up and the food you store in emergencies. Your a real survivalist ☺ dont be to worried if you feel weak for a while it took me 2 months to start feeling ok again. Its Shame your having to come back to mercia so soon but will look forward to saying hello when you get here. Take it easy lovely 😉
