I got a 92 7.3 idi and I been saving oil. Did you have to do anything to get the idi to run on oil ? Or just pour it in the tank. And are you running straight oil or is it cut down with old gas. Mine is my work truck so I been wanting to try run some oil in it but then again I don’t wanna mess nothing up bc runs great

I’ve seen them run on nothing but straight oil. I’ve always done 50/50 at most in my 6.9 and it’s been fine. That was when diesel hit about 6$ a gallon and I had to daily it lol.
