The only problem I experienced was the damaged seal sensor. I replaced it and made a video about it. I don't have that car anymore, so if there is some other problem, I'm not sure if I'll be able to give you a good advice.

Hello, your videos are amazing and helped me so much with me fixing my Vw sharan 2011 7N I was wondering if you have ever had a really bad smell from under the rear passenger door behind the drivers side. If I stand still at lights with ac on the smell is sucked in through the vents. Do you have any thoughts? It smells like mechanical Gas

Yeah, when your Sharan goes through DPF regeneration - AdBlue is injected into exhaust, it makes exhaust fumes a little white and that disgusting smell! When regeneration is over - it goes back to normal. You can know your car is regenerating - revs go up to 1000rpm on idle. When DPF is getting too much ashes, regeneration is happening more frequently. I need mine to be done, but I don't have any time at the moment and I don't drive it now.
