How do you pollinate your Pepper Plants? Our Pepper is very much enjoying the DWC container, and has Lots of Flowers and Pods starting to grow. Be sure to check the links in the description for all the details.

I live in Las Vegas, it seems all I CAN grow is peppers, I don't mind because I love them, and it's fun. I watched a lot of vids about pruning and, overwintering your pepper plants. I did that once and, the plant died. I will say some need a season to ramp up for the next season. I have 6 cayenne pepper plants, 2 jalapeno, 1 banana, 3 bells, and 2 sweet... I have not pruned a one in 4 years - except for branches that die back. - every year I have more than I can eat - So I make salsa for my friends. nom.

Hello from Sweden! That is many Pepper plants indeed. Do you dry them as well, or all in salsa? Do they end up being tall plants? Our experience of pruning has produced a much shorter fuller plant, with lots of Pods growing. We will be trying one with no pruning in a future video for sure, so that we can compare. Do you grow with Hydroponics? Thanks for your comment.

@@TheGrowZone I grow the cayennes and, 1 sweet pepper in 5 gallon buckets from the hardware store using the wicking method (not that they need it, but Las Vegas is very dry and hot so better safe then sorry) their about 2.5 to 3 feet tall and, i get about 50 to 60 peppers per plant over the season. I just did my 1st harvest of the season (i just pick them and toss them in yet another 5 gallon bucket to wash and clean them) and all the plants together filled my bucket just over half way, we made about 3 gallons of salsa which we perserv so we have it all year and, give out as gifts. whats left over we cook with. We do dry them too but usually the ones we get at the end of the season. other plants are still pretty new and, im growing them in a raised bed, my 1st attempt at that.

Awesome, that is a lot of peppers! Have you ever tried a fermented hot sauce, or just fermented Peppers in general? Really want to give it a try. Apparently very tasty with Sweet varieties as well. Will be giving the dehydrator a work out on some of our harvest as well. Happy growing my friend, and good luck with the raised beds!

Thanks! It is really enjoying the DWC. Peppers are starting to come in really well now. Be sure to take the tops off your Pepper plants so they stay nice and short.

Hello, could you please tell me what kind of pepper this is? I have the same looking one right now and I am struggling to identify it as I do not have any fruit yet 😢

Hello, yes they are 'Olly F1' Peppers from Nelson Garden here in Sweden. Good luck with your grow! Is it DWC Hydroponics?
