@@AndrewDoesLife it plugs into the OBDII and the back of the gas pedal. It just gets rid of the lag when you push the pedal down. It doesnt create more horsepower. Its just a faster throttle response which makes it feel like you have more horsepower and gets up to speed alot faster.

I have a friend who owns a late model Ford F150 crew cab. Every time I ride in his truck, I noticed that when he backs up, he shifts into drive before the F150 has stopped while in reverse. Does the Ford transmission for allow this or is he pushing his luck possibly wrecking it. Thanks for sharing and your response!

I do the same thing haha I’m by no means a Ford mechanic, but my transmission does not audibly grind or make any noise when I shift before coming to a full and complete stop.

If your going 60 on the highway in 10th gear in manual mode and stop on it does it downshift?

If you’re in manual mode, I believe it will only shift if you tell the truck to downshift using the plus or minus button.

Hey so question, can you shift to M while driving? I know you can shift to drive from manual while driving.

I have not tried that, but I would imagine it could be dangerous to do so. However, on the center console shifter is a manual gear changer button that can be used at any time! So technically you can always change gears even if you’re actively driving

You can shift to M while driving with no problem, if u we’re at 6 gear while on D and shift to M you’ll start at 6 gear

Thanks for the video. The 2020 F-150 has at least 2 different transmissions: a 6 speed and a 10 speed transmission. Looks like you have the 10 speed transmission. We're considering buying a 2020 F-150 with a 6 speed transmission and I wanted to learn about Manual mode for that. What engine does your F-150 have? From what I'm reading, there are at least 5. Thanks.
