This is a easy tip on how to get the latest updates available for LG devices that doesn't show any update on the device.
*To install it, just install LG PC Suite on the pc connect the phone to pc and check for update on the program.

Thank you so much! I have been stuck on android 5.0 since i got the phone, i could of installed it of a android rom but i honestly cant be botherd to root my device just to be let free from 5.0. Great article man. Finally, someone, you show the normal way how to upgrade the phone software. I have been searching for a long time how to upgrade from Lolipop my LG G3. I think this is only one video introducing LG Pc Suite. All others what I saw was just too complicated with rooting your phone and other crap. Thank you!

check at 4:00, when you plug in the device you must allow it, or go into usb settings and also choose the option for mtf or mtp whatever its there, because for you it might be only for charging

hello i have an lg g3 d852 canadian version ( telus operateur ) and its unlocked. well i dont live in canada and dont have the OTA update. so should i wait for it or i wont have it because i dont use a canadian sim card ! so plz help should i wait for the OTA if it will come out or should i go for LG PC SUITE method. thnx

if its linked to an operator then it will take much time to arrive and you must use their sim in order to receive the update which is dumb. just go for this method and it should work fine, this is also official so no worries

+intoSmartphones Toderici. thnx buddy. im a bit scared cuz i had a G2 beffore and i had the same thing bit when i didi the pc suite method i loste the IMEI and the network also the the touch screen so i couldnt even use the phone it was totaly useless i had to open it up and check fpr the mother bord version and flashed the right rom according to the mother bord it took me about a month to repare it thats why im hesitating right now :(

wtfff, from what I know lg pc suite only install the official updates so shouldn't happen this type of things, only if that g2 was messed up or idk but shouldn't happen this thing. My g3 is a t-mobile but I use it in Europe in a different carrier

after updating on 6.0 international version trough pc suite,after each turning on get message on screen some warning and some codes below,but phone working fine except after is on more than day and half can't play videos on youtube app,can open and search but won't start to play them,on browser youtube working ok...anyone similar issues???

that's weird indeed. but 6.0 is not optimized well for all version of g3, maybe a hard reset?!

I get upgrade again via pc suite,now android security patch is august 1st,softvare version v30n-global-com and same isuess stayed..didnt tried hard reset yet..not some problems but can be annoying sometimes

the trick i showed its for t-mobile version and not for att, try to check the att website to see if they have any update for the g3

i did check their website and the Marshmallow update is available but when i try to update it using lg pc suite it says marshmallow update available and it downloads completely but when its trying to install on my phone its gives me error .i can't update it directly from my phone setting because i live outside us .currently my phone is on kitkat 4.4.2.
