regarding the under eye bags I find that placing ice bags over the eyes while laying with your head back for 15/20 minutes really drains out the fluid under the eyes. you'll probably have to get up a little earlier than normal to do that. plus it makes the eyes feels so refreshing. I also notice dramatic reduction with the dark circles using castor oil after the ice pack and washing the face, the more I do this regimen. Best of luck!

Hi Afro4T!! Thanks for the wonderful video & your hair is lovely!! Your Bantu Knot twist out is full of shine, bounce, & fun curls. A great summer style!! Tip on under eye bags: keep your tea bags after you make a cup of tea. Squeeze it out, place in a paper towel, and then put it in a zip lock bag or small jar. Put the jar/zip lock bag in the refrigerator. At night, just before bed-place a cold teabag on eyes & leave about 2 minutes. Then rotate under eyes where puffy for another 2 to 5 minutes. The antioxidant nature of teabags will shrink the puffiness!! A natural remedy which is great smelling & also help you relax. Enjoy!!

Thank you & wonderful video!! Lovely hair, smile, skin. For the early morning bags under your eyes, try slightly wet teabags placed in that area 15 or 20 minutes before sleep (as you are laying down). The natural antioxidants of the teabag will deflate the bags & lighten the dark spots. I used this when I flew as crew for 2 airlines. Smells great too & will help relax you after long work day!

You and your hair are absolutely gorgeous!!! It's been a while since my hair has looked close to that good. 😣 Because I work nights and it's hard for me to sleep I usually use a mix of aloe vera gel and rosehip seed oil to moisturize and tone my skin. I also use rose water as a toner.

Beautiful shiny, healthy hair! You said you've tried a lot of things for your under-eye bags, but how about cold cucumber slices or teabags? The ascorbic acid and caffeine bring down water retention, as does the cold temperature. You can also very lightly stroke/pat your entire face in an upward/outward direction to move the fluid up and away toward your lymph nodes where it will be flushed away. Make sure you're getting enough sleep! :-) (A little off topic, but have you ever thought of voiceover work? Radio, TV, film? I've been a professional singer and actress for years. I think you have an amazing voice.)

Great tutorial! Someone probably already answered your question, but I've been using tumeric mask to lighten my under eye dark circles and lips. It's does work, but like anything else, it takes time. However, you'll have even toned, glowing skin. I call it my soul glow, lol. #the melanin in me Stay well and safe 🙏

Great video! As a natural hair woman in the UK it's always nice and refreshing to find someone WITHOUT an American accent sharing their hair journey. No disrespect to our overseas sisters as they are doing a fab job spreading yhe word but the UK natural hair scene needs more local talent to inspire others. Regarding your eye bags; have you tried Liz Earle Eye Bright? I find it to be particularly good for puffy eyes if you use it as soon as you wake up.

First of all thank you for this well made, informative video. You have glorious hair (I'm so jealous)! You mention using a spray Aloe Veda product but, unless I missed it, you didn't name the brand. I've been wearing my hair natural for about a year (after a lifetime of perms and straightening) and my hair is forever frizzy and dull. I started using Black Castor oil recently but after seeing your video I realize I'm not using it properly. I'm not looking for waist length hair, just healthy. I will be following your videos as your hair is a perfect example of what you don't usually see with African hair these days.

I would suggest to sleep with a travel pillow (a firm -not a bean bag) to keep your head upright and this will help your sinus cavities drain properly, thus eliminating completely or minimizing them significantly. drink plenty of water and put a spoon in freezer then place it under your eye for a few min and it will increasingly disapapate.

I have large under eye bags, i found that a cool metal spoon helps. I roll the back of the cool spoon gently and carefully on the area. Also I make a sea moss gel mask and use 3 times a week. Thank you for sharing this video, Im a new subbie 😁

I like castor oil for hair and scalp. It helps reduce my splits and knots. Keeps flyaways with the rest of my hair. And makes my edges perfect. Which was a huge issue to me since I have an issue of pulling my hair out when stressed.
