Tips for players spawning Customs side (The Western most edge by Trailer park and Crossroads): If you aren't looking to immediately get into a fight, your best bet is to head into that storage area right between far left of the map and the Big Red Customs building, loot around there for a bit, making very little noise and listening for other players for a few minutes. Normally, after about five minutes or so, almost all the PMCs will have crossed, and it will put you at a really odd pacing that will allow you to catch people off guard who already crossed the river and think their back is safe. I do this allot, and that sort of strange hesitation to cross for a few minutes allows me to run up behind PMCs allot early raid and get some easy kills near lower construction after you cross the river. That's just my two cents though. I killed four PMCs by myself once doing this, who were completely clueless. Additionally, I would only ever cross the south side land bridge up to RUAF, as it has the most cover immediately after crossing in the event you get into a fight, where as the bridge, and northern junk bridge leave you at the intersection that is wide open on the Dorms side of the map and is very very dangerous. Sure crossing the river is more open this way, however, believe it or not I have never been killed crossing there after having waited a few minutes for the players camping to move on or get killed themselves. Understanding the early raid player movement is essential, and you can kill people like a ghost if you don't follow the typical rushing sort of pace most players do, and instead lag behind a little, but not enough to run into players trying to make their way to Extract about 10-15 minutes after the raid starts potentially. In general, the pacing for Customs ive seen after about 300 hours on Customs is like this : (0 - 10 Minutes): The crossing/early raid PVP fighting as people cross to loot areas. Spawns and crossings are hot here. *This time right here, between about 5-10 minutes after start of raid is golden for sneaking up on players from behind* (10 -15 Minutes): Players arrive at key loot areas, and hold up to ambush people running in late while looting. Key areas are hot here. (15 - 25 Minutes): Early extract players begin crossing through mid points to make it to extracts, remaining player scavs and PMCs scuttle around lesser loot areas near mid points. The Mid area is hot here. (25 - 35 Minutes (The Witching Hour)): Majority of PMCs move to extracts across mid points, Player Scavs shuffle in for left overs at key loot areas. Crossings and mid points are hot here, as well as Key Areas. This is a very dangerous time as players can be almost anywhere on the map at this point. Some newer players sorta relax around this time, but you need to be more careful than ever. Consider holding up somewhere safe for a few minutes, eat, heal, repack mags or something. This is like the most chaotic part of the raid hands down, there will be almost no predicting where you will run into someone, and if you do the odds are they will be looted up and at their most dangerous out of fear of dying on their way to exctracts. *Another great time to sneak behind people if playing slowly still, about 35 minutes after raid start. I would argue THIS is the time to hit key loot areas for any scraps on your way to extracts. You'll catch people super off guard as a PMC* (35 - 45 Minutes): Remaining PMCs and Scavs all move to extracts across the whole map in small numbers. Anyone you run into is going to be pretty off their guard unless they are right at Extracts, and you can score some very very easy kills on remaining player scavs and PMCs here if you are still playing slowly and carefully. Spawns and crossings are hot again.

I don't get why, but most Tarkov "guides" are just completely useless for new players. They spend an hour to tell players "Hey, grab bags and search them after you get to safety" and then people act as if it was some god tier guide. If you ask any questions people rant and rave that you need to learn the hard way by dying a ton. These videos are relatively short, include useful information, graphics, etc. Any gameplay in some of your other videos is often slowed down so newer players can actually see WTF is going on, and you talk through everything clearly. It's really quite fantastic. This video in particular felt a bit rambling and less scripted. There are other videos on this channel, like the complete beginner's guide from 3 months ago, that felt well scripted and clean. I prefer that level of organization (I presume they take much more effort to make, so I don't expect every or even most videos to be that), but even videos like this are far superior to most of the garbage "guides" (that lack any editing, structure, and useful tips and include long rants that teach nothing useful) people put out. Thanks for making this videos. I really appreciate them.

Here is how to save ~400k RUB: There are windows to the USEC stash rooms. Have an ally prone near the window while you break it and climb through. Loot the first room, hop out, and repeat... or prone and let your buddy take the other room. The USEC stash key costs anywhere from 400k to 450k or so. This tip should help save you money whilst also getting you some good loot.

Leveling traders, setting up Hideout in a comprehensive way and fulfilling tasks the way a beginner would, with the rather precarious tools available is something barely seen in all these popular videos. So keep it up with fresh low-med level guides and I'm pretty sure you'll be getting more traffic! Cheers man!

I find the Warehouse #4 to be a really juicy spot. Gas cans, mods, trinkets, ammo, a decent medicine stash and an interesting sniping position overlooking the fortress - just the kind of building to hit by a scav or low-geared PMC. Big Boys don't usually go there. Surprisingly, the chance of PVP there is pretty low in my experience. Also, a tip for Reshala boss - nades are the key. His guard are good campers, they shoot through bushes, across insane distances and when you get close, they go into solid defense. Buy they are scared shitless of nades, which make them run out of cover disregarding spray of lead in the face. Just make sure to have big mag full, cause there's a big chance you'll have to deal with the whole bunch running around in panic. They also like using nades with insane precision, which on the other hand can wipe the whole boss squad if you manage to kill the guy pulling the pin.

Jesse ive got a question. I had spawned on the old gas station(between warehouse and bridge)with like mid to lower gear( to do some quests alone) and like 5 secs after spawn i hear a spawn noise at bridge just turn around and immediately somebody destroys me with p90. So i died like 7 secs in a raid was it a bug or cheater or what? Can u tell me?
@jibb14514 жыл бұрын
I assume you spawned in as PMC, and in that case I think what MIGHT have happened, is some other PMC spawned in at Warehouse 4 just west of you but still very close, knew to check your spawn, and lasered you before you got a chance to know he was there. There is a chance you might have even had a slight connection issue, with a delayed spawn, and that gave him enough time to make it up on the bridge behind you, then you spawned in and, yeah. That's just my guess though. Really unlucky either way. I don't think normally the game lets people spawn that close to one another, so that might have just been a glitch or something. It is a pretty new version of the map and all that. Still sucks though. Or, yeah it could have been a speed hacker but I have never ran into one on Customs believe it or not.

When I jumped in after a way too long que time and a few crashes later I was on my second scav run and picked up a hard drive a power supply 2 decent guns and random gun parts. I successfully extracted after trying tons of extracts via scav but I finally found one. I exited the match and the screen went dark. The game froze on me and I lost everything. Dang lol but I did my homework and it paid off...kinda. The game needs work before release fir sure. It needs serious graphical overhaul. I had to turn up the colors on my graphics card to get it to look decent. The game was literally grey it looked so bad I had to do something.

Um don't spawn late, lol that is fundamental and totally out of your control, know where all pmc spawns are around you, either find a bush and hide in and let adjacent spawns push through or set up for contact, do not push forward thinking you have nothing to worry about EVER, combat will not be optional, 9/10 times close pmc are going to push where you spawned, and or they will also hold areas and set up ambush as you push through, especially at the river, they do not want to be caught from behind as they for example are in the middle of crossing the river. The highest contested area is the fortress and the adjacent building a lot of people call meth house, many intel spawns and medical loot, when reshala spawns at the fortress he and his group seem to be spread out and a lot harder to solo because they can hit you from many different angles, I like fight them in dorms because they bunched up one grenade can take them all out, also fro some reason there are alot of high tier players camping fortress very late into the maps, IDK why but I have came across that a lot.
