Cylinders are so so important to drawing correctly from any possible angle. If you master them life is so much easier. I'm still learning myself and thank you for the tutorial!

Thank you! I got it now. The teacher didn't mention the vanishing points and I was puzzled trying to find a reason why the cylinder away from us is bigger. I just found your channel. Subscribed.

Granted, I'm not a formal art student and my last classes were many, many moons ago, but I've NEVER heard of the perpendicularity rule of the minor and major axes before. This is such good stuff.

It was actually an architectural basic necessity to draw a cylinder with the outline of a cuboid(am talking before the new reconnaissance age)

this man taught me how to draw cubes last week and everyday since, i try to draw for at least 15 mins (bc life takes u out of freedom) and i must say, i never liked drawing cubes as much as i do now.

this is a good lesson, however, when we struggle drawing a base circle consistently it's a bit hard to tackle cylinders

Sorry Liron, when you talking about the long and short axis of the cylinder they are not parallel but perpendicular
