I’ve particularly appreciated the last minute of the video, answering one of my main question after I master a piece: what to do if only one part is too quiet or if there’s indeed a few instruments in the intro if I’ve to obtain the same loudness of the rest of the song, thank you for the tutorial (I’d change the title with “how to master with Ozone bundle” tough 😅)

Great video man! 💥 I have a question, If you're using Ozone maximizer or Fabfilter Pro L2 then what would be your settings for this kinda loudness?(like Truepeak value, threshold)

A really good mastering tutorial! I really appreciate all the efforts have put in this video. The small details, everything is absolutely fantastic. I really learnt a lot new things a new techniques to master my song. Just a small thing, in 17:15 the unity gain monitoring is switched off I just realised that we have to turn it off in that limiter. Because for the first time when I trying them I couldn't get a louder song as well as after I exported the audio seems to be very quiet so just a quick note on that but it's really good the tutorial! thanks🙏🙏

@wildcrowmusic 3 ай бұрын
Thaaaanks 🥰🥰🥰 Turn on the 'unity gain monitoring' to check better what the limiter is doing, it will keep the same output volume, this way it is easier to do a before/after test and see if it distorts. But of course, turn it off before exporting the song

I always tought that to get a sausage I had to use a limiter, but I never achieved that sound. When I found out it was clipping my life changed lol...

WC Throw the Tutorial about Epic orchestral intro in festivals it would be great if you could show the intro version of your song "out of my head". Orchestral intro is the only thing missing in your playlists 🎉

Something to remember: volume and ott = fullness so remember to boost the volume and stack the ott 4:22 qait what is this plugin

I don't really recommend OTT in the mastering or not a lot of it. That plugin is the Ozone Match EQ

@SuperAgentAB people don't want to turn up and down the volume with everysong, if your song sounds more quiet, instantly their brain will tell them the song is worse. Also when you play the song live in a DJ Set. But if you don't want to have the same loudness as your competitors it's your choice

13:23, I'd never touch that on a bass dependant track. For example bigroom. You lose a lot of the energy by cutting that, especially at 30-40hz. Also on the high-end, if you have an airy vocal, cutting stuff above 20khz will reduce that. If it's more of a chill genre that EQ could be done with no doubt, but I wouldn't do it in EDM.
@wildcrowmusic
@wildcrowmusic 3 ай бұрын
Disagree. Most of big producers cut around 30hz because it is not a brickwall cut and it won't remove all the freqs below, but also those freqs are not that important. Also, above 20khz you don't have any freqs you can hear and most of adults can't even hear 19khz, so it is better to remove that and have more headroom
