I found out I needed to point an LED light right on the blade. Also had to replace my dongle. The one that came with my Cameo kept disconnecting from Bluetooth. Everything works perfectly now. Glad you mentioned not to move your design after you print and before cutting. Thanks for all your videos.

I also found that you shouldn't have more than one cameo trying to connect to to Studio. I had my blootooth and the actual cord trying to connect to studio and once i got rid of one then i was able to cut perfectly

Oh my gosh, thank you for mentioning not to move your design after tracing. I have had a nightmare time and didn't realize until now that's why. I had all these speck marks all over my paper because I would trace then move it around and mess with it! THANK YOU!

Also, I was doing a little test with permanent vinyl paper used to put on cardboard, laptop, car, etc. I was printing out a design but the design did not come out at all after removing the vinyl paper. Soooooooo. Loved your video, you explain very well. Tried to repeat the process and failed somewhere. When I went to the trace box and tried to get it to just trace the outside edge it would not yellow out everything and when I sent it to the cutter it cut every single line it found including those hidden in the yellow. I took a photo but can’t post it😩

Yeah so registration marks help determine how to specifically graphics on your cameo...without the marks, your design won;t cut correctly

What version of silhouette studio are you using? I have 4.3 and 4.4.285 I think is the newest and my printing starts out great on the left side but ends up off align on the right side. I have tried my cameo 4 and my cameo 3. I have tried more lighting, I only use silhouette mat, now I have not tried cutting without a mat.

I'm currently using this version 4.4.259.001..what I've also discovered is that it helps starting completely over. So for ex...close out of the Silhouette software, re open it and uploading or creating your design again. The press "Restore Defaults" before printing it.

Not necessarily, I definitely went through a few failed attempts before getting it right. Sometimes you have to close out of the software and open it again & be sure your lighting source is focused on the sensor & you restore the registration defaults.

My registration marks are switching sides when I choose 11x17 paper. I have been trying to print on easy subli & wasted so much paper 😩 8.5x11 & other sizes work fine.. only 11x17. I want to add, I did not mirror at all.. I tried to mirror after running into this issue with no fix. Anyone else run into this?

Hey there & thank you for watching. It sounds like you need to reduce your media size down to be 8.5 x 11 because if it’s the full size (12x12) then when you select print, the machine will pick up that up. I’m thinking that should help resolve it. Maybe your design is too big

Great video , I have almost the same set up that was a big plus for me. I had a question regarding to the printing what setting did you use for that type? I keep putting photo semi-gloss and it comes out terrible . I am using the same transfer brand and I have a Epson ET-2720 . And thank you for the great tips.
